Road Trip!!!

Boy, had a good time last Saturday. Mom and Dad, Bradley and I went on a road trip. We had a great time, but boy was it hot! Mom would stay in the truck with us when dad got out and when mom would get out dad would stay in the truck with us. Dad says having a diesel truck is nice cause you can leave it running and keep the air conditioner on so all us 4 legged babies can stay cool.

Mom fed me ice all day and those delicious Canidae bisquits, boy are they good!! We rode around in the country for awhile, my mom and dad are home builders and they like to ride around sometimes to look at houses.

Finally mom said we were headed home, we got about half way and I got restless and decided that mom's lap look really comfortable. Well, of course I just crawled myself right up there in her lap!!! Some of the people that we passed or passed us on the Interstate would just do a double take when they saw me. I don't know what their problem was, I was in my favorite place!!!!

We finally made it back home and Bradley and I ate our dinner and then we heard these loud noises!!! Really scared us too!!! Mom told us to calm down it was only thunder and wind. It hasn't rained at our house much, especially with all that loud stuff, so I didn't know what was going on, I just knew I sure didn't like it!!!!!

Bradley and I ended up on the bed with Mom, one on each side. We know Mom loves us and that she wouldn't ever let anything hurt us so we just snuggled as close as possible still the storm went away.

I just saw my first kitty!

Bradley and I were ready for bed the other night and I heard Bradley growl so of course I started in on my howling. Mom let us out and (we have a fenced yard around our pool) Bradley went crazy! There was a kitty in our yard!! At least that's what mom told me it was, it just look like this big ball of fur to me! I had never seen one of these creatures before! Well, poor Mom is trying to make Bradley leave the kitty alone so she can save it and I'm howling like never before! It is like a war zone in our yard and Mom is losing it trying to get Bradley to leave the kitty alone.

It is 11 o'clock at night and Bradley and I are carrying on like the world is ending and Mom is running around the yard trying to get me and Bradley to hush before the neighbors call the cops, and Dad is just standing there laughing at all of us! Mom was not pleased!

Finally Mom managed to get Bradley and I back in the house (with no help from Dad, I think he may be in trouble with Mom). Mom was worried about the kitty cause she can't stand for any animal to get hurt. Well, it all ended okay cause Mom stayed outside and watched to make sure the kitty was okay. I don't think Bradley ever touched it, I think he was as scared of it as it was of him.

Mom said the kitty was fine and we haven't seen it since. Boy, was that an experience! I really had fun howling and baying at it even though I didn't really know what it was, I just knew it was in my backyard and I didn't like it!!!!

Wow what a night we had!!!
