We just need to know that she is ok - at least! - We of course want her back - but most importantly we just want to know that she is ok and being loved and taken care of, and want what is absolutely best for her ! This is really not about us - we truely feel that if she has found someone that needs her and they love her - and she loves them - etc... We are willing to work with that - I just want to know she is ok and happy. She is truely like a kid to us and not knowing if she is ok or not has me unable t0 just stop looking for her or assume she got a good home ??? I don't know that - I wish I did - so until I know something - I have to keep looking for her ! If someone does have her and does love her and she is happy - please let us know - we are good people and just want what is best for her - we are not interested in bringing trouble to anyone or breaking anyones heart if they have taken her in and fallen in love with her. ****** PLEASE READ FOR IMPORTANT UPDATES ******** AUG 30TH - CHEYENNE IS SAFE AT HOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Monday July 7th I'm getting two different scenerios from pet communicators and psychics - 2 have said she is close to home and is still trying to find home - but is alive and ok. Possibly spending time at a park or field (*see diary) with a body of water near home. And 2 others saying she was picked up in a truck and taken farther away - so I am doing all I can to try and cover both - I will be going door to door again through my neighborhood - and I am checking the park regurlarly and have the park maintance and caretakers watching out for her too, (if this is the park they are even talking about) - there is also Arbor lake off 1st Ave South and (i think) 124th in North Burien, there is White Center Park, which has a couple of ponds. AS OF JULY 4TH - WE NEED HELP CROSSPOSTING THIS INFO TO **** TRUCKERS ***** VIA CB and Truckstops ! (in previous diary entry to todays) psychic says to please post at Truckstops and possibly get message out to Truckers via CB - can you help ??? CHEYNNE IS MISSING_ SINCE APRIL 7th 2007. _ PLEASE READ! $2000 REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO HER RETURN. Cheyenne has always been shy and submissive - hence the name Cheyenne - we call her Shy-Shy or Shy-Girl. - However once she gets to know you she is all love and so sweet and loves attention. She has been on her own or possibly with different people for the last 3 months - so temperment and behaviors may have changed. ?? We have just recently lost our 10yr old Rotti "Duke" to cancer on March 27th - and about a week and a half later we took Cheyenne and Star - (Star is our 5 yr old female Rotti/Border Collie mix) to our usual groomers Love & Care Pet Salon located at 14636 Military Rd South, in Tukwila, Wa. 98168 ... We got a call a couple hours later telling us COME QUICK - your dog just jumped out the window and we can't catch her!.....WHAT! OMG! We drove up there as fast as we could and looked and drove and walked and called frantically until dark, and through the night. We have been searching everyday and night since. She is still Missing. - we are completely devestated by all of this - and Star too - is so sad lately - losing both her best friends in 1 week! Cheyenne is like her pup. She has mothered her since we first brought her home. I have been searching everyday in every way possible since then - making 1000's of posters and posting them up over about a 10+ mile stretch from Tukwila, Des Moines to West Seattle and everywhere inbetween - driving 1000's + of miles checking every local shelter and neighborhood. Handing out flyers and going door to door. Even hired a search and rescue dogs to try and track her 3 seperate times, as well as pet communicators and pet psychics - the last search ended at a Walgreens parking lot in White Center on SW Roxbury - very close to home! We think she was picked up by someone, who may have thought she was a stray - she had no collar on - because the groomer had removed it, and unfortunately she is not micro-chipped. She may or may not have a collar on at this time, since we do not know for sure if she was taken in with someone for awhile who put a collar on her or not - but we do believe she was with a woman (for a few weeks at least) who lives in White Center area - possibly close to the NEW White Center Heights School on 8th Ave SW & SW 102nd - IF ANYONE KNOWS OR CAN FIND OUT ANYTHING ABOUT THIS WOMAN (african american woman - walking a dog that looks much like Cheyenne, while walking her talked to another couple who said she told them that she had found the dog and was probably going to keep it. She may not have known Cheyenne was missing at that time. The phone call sightings were not coming in at that time and as soon as I posted alot more flyers in that area - as well as all around Westwood Village - the sightings started coming in again - many from the White Center area ~ in downtown white center, the parks, over near West Wood village, on Trenton St. and between Thistle and Cloverdale off of Delridge etc... someone went and deliberately took all the signs around west wood village down 3 days in a row - even after putting them up higher with a step ladder - all other signs and posters were left alone - only mine were taken down - We believe this woman for some reason " let Cheyenne go " or Cheyenne got away from her somehow, and may have let her out or lost her down by west wood village ??? Possibly the woman works at westwood village or lives near there ? - The couple who talked to her said she told them she lived on 7th in a mobile home - but did not say where on 7th or which 7th ???? She is 2 yrs old, a Golden Retriever/Shepherd/Chow Mix. She is golden tan/orange/brown colored with a lighter chest and belly with black and grey muzzle and eyebrows - she is sometimes skittish around people she doesnt know and unfamiliar things. She is very playful and excited - loves to go for walks and drives in the car up to our favorite park - where all 3 run off leash and always come back when called, playing fetch in the yard, and chasing her tail. - We MISS HER SO MUCH! and are so worried. We want our baby back! If theres anything anyone can do or suggest to help - please let us know - i have been posting this lost ad and her picture anywhere i can - and emailing to everyone. UPDATE: Cheyenne is STILL MISSING as of JULY 3RD - We are still searching all the shelters and rescues, and THANK YOU to EVERYONE who has been helping with our search by making and posting fliers, forwarding her info - emailing the news stations, checking through all the found dog and adoptable dog sites, etc... WE LOVE YOU ALL - and are so grateful for finding this incredible site, with so many wonderful, generous people and thier pups! *****Please read her diary for more information and updates***** THANK YOU ALL! ********** THANK YOU **** THANK YOU *** THANK YOU ************

There are just not enough words for me to express how very grateful we are for all the love, prayers, support and WELCOME HOME WISHES, STARS & ROSETTES : )

Cheyenne had a trip to the vet yesterday - she was so scared in there she was shaking from head to toe - but i held her close and she calmed down about half way through the visit - and she was a total super girl - never even let out a whimper - with no parasites to be found. Blood work - we will get the results back Tuesday - but Dr. says she looks good and healthy and now just needs to eat and gain weight - which she is doing with lots of enthusiasm! (poor girl has lost about 20 lbs! ) She is now micro-chipped too : ) and has a name tag !

Cheyenne LOVES her new brother Zeke - they immediately got along - and Zeke was so excited to share his rope and play Tug-o-War with her.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOUR LOST PET - MIRACLES DO HAPPEN - CHEYENNE IS LIVING PROOF ! She was misssing for almost 5 months - and from what we can tell, was out there on her own for most, if not all of that time! Plaster a 10 mile radius with posters, and spread the word any and everyway you can! AND PLEASE GET YOUR PETS MICRO-CHIPPED, LICENSED AND NAME TAGGED.

I had 2 different pet commuincators tell me she was no longer with us and had died - and although it hit me very hard and had me very depressed for some time ~ something in my gut just did not believe that - and so I continued to post ads on Craigslist and check out any possible leads - and now she's HOME - with no injuries and so happy to be back. She still wears a big smile and is just as sweet as ever! THANK YOU GOD FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS !

I have posted some new photos ~ Thank You all so very much for everything!

We love all our Dogster pals - and look forward to joining in on the fun now that this difficult ordeal has ended in such a wonderful way.

Sorry it's been so long since I posted - much has happened since I last wrote but most importantly.............

We have great News !! ***** CHEYENNE IS HOME !!!! *********

This all started 5 days ago - when I got a call from a woman in Sea-Tac (BLESS HER!) who said she had been feeding a stray dog for about a month and she saw the posters and got a better look at Cheyenne and called to tell me that she would come into her yard to eat late at night - so I started camping out in front of her house just waiting - and sure enough she came for dinner each time - she was extremely scared and skittish at first - so for the first 3 nights all I could do is watch her from my car window - because if there was any movement she would bolt - but then last night ~~~~

Nothing short of a miracle happened last night! Cheyenne is here laying by my side and just last night - I was sitting out in front of that house again waiting for her to come running over for dinner - I had put her favorite snack in front of my car and a trail from the car to the food dish - and all of a sudden i heard a whimper from across the street - then she ran up to the front of the car and looked at me - ran to the side of the car - looked at me - I just sat there trying not to look directly at her - (because i was told this could take a couple weeks to gain her trust and she would not let anyone else approach her) the next thing you know she jumps up and sticks her head in the window! Luckily i remained calm and had a beggin (bacon) strip next to me - I handed it to her - she gobbled it up - I didn't quite get a hold of her - and she ran off with the treat - but just a second later - she came back and I opened the door and she practically jumped in my lap! - I hugged her over and over and she licked my face - this could not have gone any more perfect! She was so happy to see me and her car!

She is so thin - i can feel every bone in her body - she looks like she's lost about half of her body weight - but other than that - she is acting and looks very healthy! No injuries - She knows she's home and knows her name - We are all ecstatic!

She has been living in one of those overgrown Port of Seattle lots over by the Groomers and the Airport, and then coming out at night to cross the street and eat from the neighbors who Thank God were feeding her.

Star is so happy to see her too ! And to top it off - it was my husbands 40th Birthday last night.

We are very Blessed ! - And I am so happy to be able to share this incredible news with all the amazing people who have followed her story from the beginning, and came out on thier own time to help us look for her and for the many prayers that were said daily - God Bless All Of You!

If you have a lost pet - PLEASE DON"T GIVE UP - AND JUST KEEP PUTTING THOSE POSTERS UP AND TELLING AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE !!! MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!! It has been 4 months and 3 weeks since Cheyenne first went missing - and now she is HOME! : )

I will get pictures of her up as soon as we can - but rest assured - she is ok and so happy to be home!

IF I could ask one more favor - if you are in our area and see a poster of Cheyenne and you are able to take it down for me - I would greatly appreciate it - I have well over 5000 posters and flyers out there, and will do my best to get them all taken down and now inform everyone that she is SAFE AT HOME!

AGAIN - THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
