Arrival Story:
After having Buttons for about a year, she was wearing us out. In the evening when we tried to relax Buttons would put her toys on our laps to play. I decided she needed a playmate. A backyard breeder had an ad in the paper. They had one left. He brought her over and her and Buttons got along good; they almost immediately started playing. We decided to take her. Then we wondered what to name her figuring it should be something that goes with Buttons. The breeder was joking when he said 'bows' but both of us said that was perfect. So we had Buttons & Bows.

Goodbye my sweet girl

Tonight we said goodbye to our baby Bows. I will post more later, but for now I'll say she had problems tonight which caused us to take her to the ER . After finding out what the problem was and discussing the options with the Vet, we decided to end Bow's suffering and allow her to join Buttons on the other side of the bridge. We will miss her dearly.

Forgot to update: After about a week, Bows was back to normal. She's eating normally, not peeing in the house, and seems to be fully recovered from whatever it was that was bothering her. It may hav had something to do with the change in dogfood, so we changed back to the other food we were using. She still has hot spots on her stomach and we're trying different things to control it. She just got groomed and is looking good for an old girl.
