Spring is here!!

March 26, 2008
Dear Diary, I'm so glad that winter is over. I really don't like to go out and do my business in the snow and cold. The last snow and ice storm we had I fell off the porch. I ran out the door like usual and didn't know that there was ice on the steps and zoom, I flew out into the yard. Mom laughed. I didn't think it was so funny.
We had a good Christmas. I got stuff in my stocking like usual. I went to the vet not long ago and he says my cataracts are developing a lot so I'm having some trouble seeing things. He told Mom just not to move furniture around and stuff. That way I wouldn't bump into things. At least my nose works and I have no problem finding the food bowl. Yesterday I snuck over and ate out of my big brother's food bowl. He's a St. Bernard, but he's really nice. His food was really yummy. I guess big dogs have better food. He sure had a big bowl full. We, my brother and sister and I, get to go to town with Mom a lot. I like to ride in the back seat. Little Rowdy just got a car seat. He's only 4 pounds and he can't see out the windows. I could care less what's out there. I like to nap on my rides. Bye for now.

Today is my birthday

It may be the day I was born, but I consider September 13, 2006 to be my birthday because that's the day I was adopted into my forever home. I didn't live until then. I am so happy on this day. I have everything I dreamed of, food, a warm place to sleep, hugs and kisses and I go everywhere my family goes. I sleep on road trips, can't help it. I have a new brother since last year. He's a Yorkie like me, his name is Rowdy and he is rowdy. I am trying to help my mom teach him some manners. He's just a child, so I am patient with him.
My greatest birthday present is being alive in my new home with my forever family. Love Pixie

I went swimming-May 3, 2007

Yesterday was so warm here in KY. Mom, my sister Jazzy and myself spent some time out by the pool soaking up some rays. I got kinda warm and there was a lot of water on top of the pool cover so I just jumped in. I swam around and around until Mom coaxed me out. Man! it felt good. It really cooled me off. Mom says in a couple of weeks the pool cover will come off and I'll have all kinds of water to swim in. Mom says she wants another Yorkie. This time a boy. YUCK!! You know how I hate boys. They were responsible for me having 12 liters of babies. But, Mom says I can't have anymore because the good vet took out some parts. Anyhow, I kinda hope Mom does get another Yorkie. I'd love to have a brother. She says she's praying about it now. Tomorrow is Mom's birthday. She will be 50 and she thinks that's old. I guess it is old for humans. I don't care, it's just a number. Bye
