Learning to type...

Just recently, I figured out a way to really freak out Mom and Dad. When I am bored and Mom is sitting on the couch with her laptop, I like to be friendly and hop up and sit next to her. Slowly, while she is involved in her work, I slide over to rest my head on her lap. Then when she's typing, I will sit up and place my paws on the lap desk. After several seconds, I will then stand upright, placing my paws on the keyboard or mouse to scare Mom, then pressing the keys just like she does. The skill comes in handy when I have to make diary entries.

Alcatraz

Mom & Dad recently placed a carabiner on my crate door. For those of you who don't know what this is, it's a metal latch with a spring-hinged side that is normally used for rock climbing (I overheard them talking about it because I didn't know either! What do you expect? I'm just a pups!). I successfully escaped from my crate 4 times to poop out in the living room...three times in the middle of the night! I'm housebroken but I really needed to go and I've been practicing "picking the lock" while they are gone during the day! I think the last time was the the straw that broke the camel's back because I actually pooped on my dad's surfboard! I usually don't like going near the thing because it scares me but this time I thought, "what the heck...I'll hang ten AND poop at the same time"! I figured that they're always trying to get me on it so I tried it out by myself to see how safe it was. Turns out it's so comfy, I decided to mark it for my own!!! Now I have to figure out a way to unlock that carabiner...
