Arrival Story:
After Nika, it became very obvious that we weren't enough to keep up with her. Everyone we asked advised to get another husky. While the concept of getting another one JUST LIKE HER - was INSANE... we started the search anyway. In our search we came upon a show breeder in Maryland. His brothers all found homes, however Rudi (or Herbi the love bug as the family called him) was having some trouble finding a home. He was not show quality due to his long coat, so he needed a loving pet home. We drove down to the home in Maryland with 3 people and 1 crazy puppy Nika in a Convertible Seabring. No need for the extra room.. we were "just looking." Needless to say when Rudi's fuzzy butt came running around the corner we knew we'd figure out how to make the room for the ride back.

Bio:
Rudi is one of the most amazing dogs you could ever meet. Aside from his beauty he has an amazing temperament. He has passed his CGC with flying colors and has done some work visiting nursing homes, working with foster dogs and so much more. His temperament is one of amazing calm and just a plain solid dog. Nothing seems to phase him! The Meaning of Rudi:
Rudi is short for Rudolf and from the Germanic name Hrodwulf, which was derived from the elements hrod "fame" and wulf "wolf". This was the name of rulers of the Burgundy, the Holy Roman Empire, and Austria. A lake in Africa also bears this name. So in essence Rudi means "famous wolf."
