We are so very lucky to have the most wonderful pup pals here on dogster. Without them, my mom would not had the support of those who know what it' s like to lose a beloved member of the family. When she needed support, you were all there to help her through the difficult transition. Thank you so much wonderful dogs and their families. How can we be so lucky to have pals like you!!!!

Ruger was a loyal, loving, funny guy. He had been very sick for a long time. Today was time for him to go to The Bridge. No more suffering, no more surgeries. We love you Rugie and cant wait to see you again.

Irish blessing to friends

Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers-
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours-
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through.

I've been tagged by my pal Henry. The rules start by listing 7 pawsome facts about yourself, then choose some dogs to tag and list their names. P mail or send them a fun rosette announcing that tehy are tagged. Ask the dogs to chek your diary entry.

7 pawsome facts about me.
1. I LOVE my mom and follow here EVERYWHERE and I mean
Everywhere.
2. I love everyone and will sit on their feet to be petted.
3. I lost part of my tail when I was a young puppy
4. I have a special place I like underneath the desk.
5. I have had my toe amputated and a lump taken off my nose.
6. I have to compete with 2 dals for attention. Enough said about that.
7. Of course, I love to swim and retrieve anything.

The dogs I have tagged are Tess, a pawsome beagle, Josh the cutest Westie I know, and T.J.

I've been waiting for this day furever. Lots of great smells and lots of drooling. Hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, and much much more!
Lots of balls for me to retrieve and maybe a little swimming too.
Wisconsin is going to have a beautiful day for a change. Last year it rained. Hope everyone enjoys!

Bad foot!

Mom has been very busy with all us sick doggies! My foot was swollen and I was licking at it all the time. This went on for three weeks and it was looking pretty bad so mom finally called the vet. By the time we got to the office, I had chewed the nail off. It was sooooo yummy. The vet took x-rays and, to my moms relief my foot was fine. I am now on antibiotics and the swelling is a bit better. This doesnt stop me from chasing balls, etc. or swimming up a storm!

Oh Boy! Water and Tennis Balls!

We went to a doggy open-house yesterday. I held my new ball in my mouth, sat on people's feet, and begged to be petted. I got lots of pets that way until the people got tired of doing it. It was O.K. but I couldnt wait to go to the swimming pool!
Oh Boy! The minute I saw the water and saw all those balls and dogs I got excited, which is not like me at all. My dad had brought 3 tennis balls, but we really didnt need them because the people had provided about 50 balls that were floating in the pool. With all those dogs it was hard to figure out which ball was mine, so I just went for the closest ball. Some of mine got stolen away by higher jumpers, but I didnt mind. I just gathered as many balls in my mouth as I could find and brought them to mom and dad. I wish we could do that every day!
