Arrival Story:
Howie was given to Rog by the local ACO "for a few days" because there really wasn't room at the shelter. Howie howled until he couldn't make any more noise (which is why they named him Howie) and bonded strongly with Rog, so he kept him.

Bio:
Howie usually gets a "lion cut" in the summer... he hates that. He is a grouchy old man type of dog, he doesn't want to play with anyone except the humans. He will groom Joey occasionally, which is quite amusing, but otherwise keeps to himself. I keep trying to talk Rog into taking Howie to agility; he's faster than all of the other dogs we have!!
