Katie, I wish I knew why I was chosen to find you being dumped out of the car by the trash that owned you. I can't stop crying over this. You were such a special little lady. I wish we at the shelter could have helped you, unfortunatly, our only choice was to help you pass over to Rainbow Bridge.
Obviously, you did not have a very nice life or family.
For the very short time I knew you, I realized you were special.
Katie, animals like you are the reason people like me push to save others like you. All of my dogs are rescue babies. I would never have it any other way. There are so many wonderful animals just waiting for that perfect family. Honely, I wish I could have helped you find yours, Unfortunatly, you came to us too late. I promise you, Your memory will live on in all of us at the shelter.
You may be gone for now but not forgotten. God saw you were getting weak so he took you into his loving arms. Now you are at rest.
Katie, my plans are to open a Katie fund for others in need that are not as far gone as you were. We are going to honor you the day before Easter at the Easter Bone hunt for the shelter. Prayers shall be said for you too. Katie, you did not die in vain.
We at the shelter are also on hot pursuit to catch the skum that did this to you.
Don't worry Kate, we have their car on the video camera so its only a short matter of time.
We are doing all of this in your honor.
