Quick Bio:
-mutt-pound dog

Birthday:
June 22nd 2002

Likes:
Attention, love, touch, being in the same room with us.

Pet-Peeves:
Not being loved every minute of the day.

Favorite Toy:
Beams of light from a flashlight. She LOVES this.

Favorite Food:
Salmon purina one in the tiny pellets. She wolfs it down (no pun intended).

Favorite Walk:
The alley out back with all its wonderful smells.

Best Tricks:
Cajoling anyone's legs and hands into position to pet her.

Arrival Story:
Lady was turned into Animal Rescue twice, either for being too insistent about her petting demands or because she sheds like a broken pillow. She's beautiful and lovable but very demanding. (My neighbor says she's just like her Mom that way.)

Bio:
The adoption papers said she is a "collie mix" but you can see there's no collie in her. A lady at the park suggested Spitz and she fits that bill quite well. She has some other breed mixed in (something that's high-anxiety) but we don't know what that is.

Mom picks me up!

There I was, stuck at Animal Friends for the second time in 3 years. I don't know why my two owners sent me there, but I had to get out. Then my Mom showed up and sat with me for a bit. I tried real hard not to be too spazzed, I tried to tell her I'd be good and would be a nice dog and keep her company. So she took me home.

But on the way home I got scared and cried the whole way home (about 2 miles). Mom said I was screaming, but I was just scared to be in the car again. When we got home, I checked out the big back yard while Mom put my crate together. I really surprised her when she finished it cause I jumped right in. It felt so good to be in a safe crate, it's really different from the cages at the pound. (They call it Animal Friends, but I didn't think it felt very friendly.)

But here at home, in my very own crate, it felt like I'd come home at last.
