Ain't Gettin' Old A Drag

I asked Mom to start wrting for me since I have a hard time with my paws on the keyboard. I've been reflecting on life recently since Father Time is starting to catch up with me. I've had a good life since being rescued from the streets. No more puppies to take care of, two squares a day, lots of love and attention, regular medical care, a great bunch of playmates (currently Darius & Kea), and a warm place to sleep at night. I just wanted to let you know that living with both canine cognitive disorder and canine vestibular disorder can be a challenge. Mom has talked to my vet and I'm on medication for my doggie Alzheimers and that seems to help a little bit. I can still be a little forgetful and do my "walk abouts" around the house, but Mom says she can "see a dog behind the eyes" again. We're working on minimizing my bouts with vestibular disorder and I've promised Mom that I'll try not to scare her again. I'm still loving my walks and can't wait to try out some more trails. Mom says we need to go "easy" since I can't climb as well as I once did, but we'll see. I'll keep you informed as time goes by.

Woofs and high paws to all,

Yoda
