Trip to see the meme

I get to go in the car again today. This time i get to go see the meme!
I'm so excited because i have not seen her in a long long time.

Mum said she moved to a new nursing home that ENCOURAGES pets to come visit often. Something about it makes the people happier.

It makes me happier too! I get to go see her often!!! I hope her next nursing care home is like this one!

Vet Trip?

Today mum came home and took me from the kennel. She said the magic "car" word! I was SO excited! I danced round and round her.

We did indeed go for a car ride but it was short - and right to the vet's office. I didn't think I was sick but hey.. there is new smells there so what did i mind?!

Well today they took me in the back and put something called a microchip in me. Took next to no time. In fact i barely felt it and was out to mum in under 3 minutes! And back to all the smells!!

She said something about being able to be CKC registered now. And that i would be the first in our small family to become a dual citizen. I guess that is what you get when your AKC and CKC registered at the same time?

I don't know. All i know is that i got to go on TWO car rides and smell all the neat smells at the vet office.

Life is grand!

Strange things

Mum came home from that long time away place early today! Yipiee!
So did my big sister.

But they were both acting funny.

Mum cooked something that smelled really good. Sheperd's pie she said to my big sister. I have no idea what a sheperd is...but i bet he tastes good cause that smelled soo yummy!

Then mum went on the big comfy bed for a while. I licked her face and she was all salty tasting.

Her and my big sister were discussing that my friend Tori isnt coming home. But i dont know why.

Maybe she gets to go chase the geese like i SO want to but they wont let me.

Aww.. she's so lucky. She gets to chase the geese and i dont

Sick...

My friend Tori is sick.

Mum says she has not been feeling good the last few days.

I dont know.. all she does is lay around and around and around.

Mum said that when she was laying around she was not eating or drinking either. This caused her liver to do something werid. I think mum said.. shut off??

All i know is that for right now she get to have a sleep over - lucky her! I wonder if she will have a party and eat lots of cool things when she is gone. I bet they have liver treats there too.

Bath and a Hair cut

... and it was not two bits mum said....

So i go to this groomers place. Oh..they had lots of neat toys and beds and all sorts of goodies there. I was not allowed to play with them though. Too bad as there was this really neat one......


Before i knew it mum and my big sister were gone. And i was brought to the back. I heard mum say bye.. but i didnt understand that she was going!

When she came back she said that i looked all grown up. Does that mean im not a baby anymore? Getting a bath makes you grown up? Wow.. that was not so bad then! Can i do it again?

I even got my teefers cleaned up and sparklie. My toes are all clipped.

Best part of all.. I CAN SEE AGAIN!!! No hairs poking my eyes out!

Mum says i can lay on the big bed all i want now cause i dont smell all stinky.

OH oh oh oh

and to top my great day off.. i got to sit in the back seat with my big sister and she opened the window for me so i could stick my head out of it! Ohhh to feel the wind! She laughed at me though cause my new haircut slicked right back with the wind. But it felt good to have it blowing in my face so i didnt care much.

Well.. been a busy day.. im gonna go chew on my new nyla bone and sack out for the night.

Grooming

Mum says in a bit i get to go to the groomers.

What in the world is a groomer?!

Do they give treats there... is there friends to play with?

Well i guess i will see in a little bit~

I mean.. what's the harm? I like to talk. And talk. And talk.

That nice lady comes over every other day. She's fun to talk to. I talk ALOT when she comes to visit. Andre came over to say that someone didnt like my talking. Pffttt on them. Their just jelous that they cant talk as loud as i can!

The meme tells me that's enough. But her voice isnt scary at all. So i talk to her too sometimes. But i try to stay quiet for her so she can rest. When mommie gets home from ... wherever she goes all day long... i talk then too.

Talking is GREAT....

But .. mommie says i cant talk so much anymore. Only when i hear something at the door. We worked a bit on that tonight. Everytime i yelled to mommie that some stranger was at the door..... it was really my big sister. I didnt get that. Close the door she's gone. Open it to expect a stranger and .. she's there!

But no talking when there is no one at the door. OH .. its sooooo confusing! Talking is good... right??? I'll get this one day! And mommie won't be fussing so much anymore!

The Big Bed

Mum isnt feeling well today so she came home very early from that place she goes away to everyday.

Im not sure what it is..but i know she goes when im done my breakfast and the sun isnt quite up yet. I know she does not come home till my belly is grumbling cause its hungry again.

She was laying in the other room and then i got such a treat!!

Daddy told her to come get me and let me lay with her on the big bed.

WHAT JOY!

I got to cuddle with mum for about an hour on the big bed. I only bit her once but i thought she was itchy like me. I never really slept - neither did she. She says we may go back on the big bed in a little bit.

WEEEEEEEE

It's so nice to have mum home and all to myself for the day!

Sleepless in the City

I never knew what happened in my city at 3am. Or 4am..... or 5am.....

I do now becasuse im out there with Casey at those hours while he pretends he's gonna wee ... but he never does.

He simply will NOT wee outside anymore. It's like he suddenly thinks its humilating for such a cute puppy to go out there. When i take him he sniffs and plays. SOMETIMES he'll go.. but only if he's been out there for about 3o min. Sure thats all fine and dandy but when you must stand there to hold the leash.... 3o minutes in the freezing cold *or this morning freezing rain* sucks butt.

When we brough him home last weekend he was doing fantastic. Only two pees on the paper set up for him. All was well. Then hit the work week and all H e double hockey sticks broke loose.

His kennel works but only at night. If i put him in there during the day he barks like mad!

Calgon take me away!!!!

I dont know what to do with him - honestly. He's not leaving us right now i can tell you that much.. but he has GOT to learn that puppies potty outside. Period.

I'd pay someone anything they wanted to train him to go outside... i really would....

Ok.. *snickers* I have mum fooled but good!

I fooled her into thinking i had this out potty outside thing all figured out. HA! I have refused to go potty outside at all tonight!

Who wants to go out there anyway.. its cold.. its windy.. besides.. ive paper to go on in my big kennel - mum calls it my day play pen.

I am doing well when its ni ni time.
Mum puts me in my night time kennel. She says ni ni casey love you and shuts the door tight. I cry sometimes but not for very long. I even sleep all night long! Well.. until 6am anyway. I go potty good at 6am! Who wouldent when you've been sleepin all night!!!

I've been a good boy she says. I even get to go for car rides. I have my very own back seat and special seat belt! She even gave me special car toys so i have something good to chew on!

In a few days i'll be here a week. All of my aunts and uncles have come to see me. I even see my meme's workers in the day time! They are nice but they never take me out of the day pen - darn it. Maybe if i try to be even cuter they will let me out!

Nezzie - my friend - comes to paly wiht me lots. He even lets me bite and chew on him. Tori.. well.. she's big...and white.. and growls alot. I dont think she wants to play much. Maybe in a few days she will.

Well... toys to chew.. cats to chace.
