My dearest angel, today it has been three years since the day you left us that Sunday morning. I selfishly hoped you would rally one more time but I knew your heart was weak and you were oh so tired. You gave me so much more time than I could have ever asked for and you fought to the very end. Your unwavering courage and high standard of dignity stayed with you until the very last breath. We were very blessed to have had you in our lives and to watch you blossom into such a wonderful adult. Thank you for picking us to want to spend your life with.

I bought you another balloon for your tree but this year I chose a happy balloon adorned with smiley faces and the saying "We Love You" on it. I want you to be able to look down from heaven and know how much we loved you. I know you knew, but it is also nice to see. Love you Tara
