WooHoo, warmer days are on the way! Today is the vernal equinox, so here is a little puppy information for you.
An equinox occurs twice a year, when the tilt of the Earth's axis is inclined neither away from nor towards the Sun, the Sun being vertically above a point on the Equator. The term equinox can also be used in a broader sense, meaning the date when such a passage happens. Vernal equinox is a direct derivative of Latin (ver = spring).
So there you have it, Spring has sprung in Dogsterland!
Happy Spring and SO many thanks for a wonderful week as Dogster's Dog of the Week. This has meant so much to me and really is a great honor. Thank you for checking out my page and sending so many congratulations and pressies. It warms my little Tzu heart (just like the warm days ahead now that Spring is here). Love to Tzu all
