A couple of weeks ago, we got Talos a new wire kennel. It's all padded in case he has seizures and stocked with toys. However he doesn't like being there when we're at work, preferring to wander around the house. So last night we get home and I go upstairs to let him out. He's not in his cage. The door is still locked. It's like he's vaporized.
I go into the bathroom, the garbage is over turned and chewed on. Definite dog activity. On the way down the stairs I see the kitchen trash has been unlocked and over turned and chewed on. Still no dog. The hall closet was left open so the dog food bin was unlocked and open. Then my boyfriend hears a stirring in the downstairs bathroom. Voila! A proud and happy dog is found. He must have wandered in but pushed the door closed as he tried to exit.
Later we check the kennel again. It is suppose to collapse onto itself to flatten. Most dogs would push out and not be able to get out. Our dog pulled in and wriggled through the opening.
This morning his poop had egg shells and pieces of trash bag.
