The Great and Mighty Tinkerbelle (I am not a fairy!)

Hi Dairy,

It's been awhile since I talked to you diary. I've been trying to get all better. I still have seizures, but not so many anymore. I had to go on a different medicine cause the seizures didn't go away after all. But I'm doing pretty good.

My skin sister came to visit last week and brought her puppy Maya to visit too. I love Maya. She is so much fun to play with. She is a Morkie - part Yorkie and part Maltese. She has as much energy as I do! But she has a very bad habit - she bites. It hurts and makes holes in my T shirts and PJs. But I love her anyway. I was very sad when she went home. I sat on mommy's bed and howled the next morning cause I couldn't find them anywhere.

Tonight I found some of her food under the washing machine and I barked until my mommy got down on the floor and scooted it out with a yard stick! Then I ate it in honor of Maya the Morkie pup!

Well, it's time for bed. Mommy is yawning. Night Night diary. Talk to you again later.

Hi, I'm back.

Hi Diary.

I was sick for awhile and my mama didn't feel like adding anything to my diary. (You do understanddon't you that although I talk big, I really don't know how to use the computer. My mama does that for me, but SHHH.)

In July, I got a bad disease called histoplasmosis and I was in hospital for a week or so and had to be boarded at the vets for 3 days after that. I almost went over the rainbow bridge to see my brother but lots of people prayed for me and I got better. I have had seizures every day since I got sick and I had to take medicine for them. But the med was making me very sick. So my vet said not to give it to me anymore and just see how I did. My mama prayed really hard and I haven't had a seizure for 3 days and nights now. (Tink doesn't know, but the vet thought she would die pretty soon without the medicine. But she couldn't have it anymore cause it was destroying her liver and kidneys.)

My mama loves me lots cause she snuggled me and came to visit me every day and talked to me and petted me. I couldn't tell her, but I was awfully glad she loved me so much. Now I just lick her alot.

My leg is doing very well. I can run and walk just fine on it. I can climb up on the back of the big green chair in the living room too. Sometimes I jump off but it scares mama so I try to do it when she's not watching. ( Hee Hee!)

My mama put some new pictures of me here with my new clothes. You should go see them. They are really pretty.

By for now diary. I have to go take a nap.

I have a big Owwwie!

I had to have a surgery last week on my hip! Mama says I have Legge Perthes disease. Sniff! I don't want to have a disease!! But I really like the man who helped me. He's pretty and he smells good too.

Mama says they cut off the ball of my femur. I don't know what that means but I think that if it was my ball, they should have saved it for me to play with. I never have enough of those. Mama says it isn't a squeaker ball, but I don't care. It was mine!

I'm doing very well with my physical therapy. I saw the surgeon that helped me yesterday (I kissed him when he looked at me. Hee Hee!). He said he has never seen such a happy frisky puppy so soon after surgery. He said my mama is doing a good job with my therapy. Well that may be true but it hurts just the same.

Anyway did you know that they make you naked at those hospitals?!?!?!? When I woke up they had stolen the hair from my leg and my butt and I was cold! Mama makes sure I have PJs for nightime and a blanket to snuggle during the day. She loves me!

I'm getting better and better. Yesterday I scared my mama 'cause I jumped off the couch. I thought it was fun but she squeaked. Ever heard a mama squeak? It sounds funny. Silly mama.

Gotta go eat lunch while mama is still here. She has to go back to work soon.
