I bited Mommy, accidentally, when I saw some big dogs runnin' outside. Well! It's not really my fault, either. I really didn't mean to bite her finger the first time.. and I didn't mean to bite her arm, either. One toof even maked her bleed on her arm and the other toof maked a li'l bruise. Mommy said we need to practice bein' around people runnin' and big dogs playin', so I can learn that they don't wanna hurt us. They just havin' some fun... and that's okay. A lady were running on the side of the road. She had a Bullie and a Labbie on leashes. I had to save my pawents! The lady was running! Running are violence! I will not tollyate violence!Bullies and Labbies are big! I see them running wiff the lady!!!! You shoulda heared how loud I barked! RRRRRRUFF!!!!RRRRUFF!!! Mommy picked me up and sayed to me "Teddi Sue! Teddi, no -no! Don't bark, Baby!" I know she really wanted me to be on her lap so I could keep her safe from that running lady and those running big doggies. I didn't mean to bite Mommy's finger when she picked me up! *BLUSH, sniff-sniff, wipes eyes with paw* It were a accident! It really were! Mommy made a mad face and holded my collar. She sayed to me "DON'T you bite me, Teddi Sue! Then she sayed it again and sayed I were a bad grrl. * sniff-sniff, wipes eyes* Then Mommy maked me sit still on her lap and she keeped holding my collar. Mommy showed me her finger and sayed "It were bad to bite Mommy. I be sitting nice on Mommy's lap and giving her kissies on her hand. I look at her face wiff my sad, widdle eyes. After about a thousand-hundred minutes... (or maybe 1 or 2) then Mommy kissed me on top of my widdle head and telled me she know it were a accident and she telled me she loves me. He got scared and slipped his collar at a fireworks display. He ran away and has been missing since last Friday. Regal is the real-life furiend of Mocha Bear. Mokie is trying to help her dear furiend find his way back home and is looking to her pals here on Dogster and Power of the Paw! to help bring Regal back home. If you, or anyone you know of, lives in the Southern Tier of NY or North Central Pennsylvania, pawlease pass along Regal's story and information. He is a 52 lb, blue merle, neutered male. He was lost on King Hill Road on the border of Newark Valley and the Town of Maine in Broome County, New York. A Bittersweet Woof. *tears* June 2nd 2008 3:39 am   [link to this entry] Yesterday, exactly one year ago to the day I was reunited with my family after having been stolen, nearly 300 miles from home, I got a woof from a very, very special friend of mine. Jessie pawmailed to tell me that he will be leaving Dogster furever sometime this week! I will always remember my sweet Jessie as being one of my true heroes. When I was stolen and everypup was looking so hard fur me and woofin' pawrayers, Jessie was right there, working soooo hard day and night, to try to help me find my way back to my family. He and his typist, like so many others, spent hours upon hours on the effort to help find me. Mommy and I are ever so grrreatful fur the love and compassion that was shown to our family during that time of need. I am back at home with my family today because of it. Though Jessie won't be here on Dogster anymore, I hope he realizes how much of a pawt of my life he became when he put his whole heart and soul into my Search and Rescue mission. I love you, Jessie. I will always remember you and hold you close in my heart. I wish you all of the very best in life... always. Pawlease don't ever furget that you have a true and devoted friend in this world. I have a job to do! I hope Mom gets her head on straight real soon and remembers what's really impawtant in life! Sheesh! The Spring Time is Beautiful at Home With My Family! April 6th 2008 7:35 pm   [link to this entry] Wowee! Who knew Spring time could be so beautiful and happy! It's so grreat to be home with Mommy and Daddy - all four of us Tater Tots all together! Ya see, just about a year ago (April 16th, to be exact) I was stolen, along with our car, almost 300 miles from my home. I was just a li'l baby then, and I was scared and I wanted to go home to my family. It took a while, but Mommy and all our Dogster and Catster furiends finally found me, far away in Seattle, after searching every single day and night fur nearly 8 weeks! It was the most wunnerful day when I went outside and found my momma again! She scooped me up and hugged me tight! I gave her 'bout a million sloppy kissies all over her face! After tears of happiness and hugs and a delicious lunch with a couple of very special Dogster furiends, Mommy packed me into the car and we drove the 5 hours home - back to my real home with my furblings, The Tater Tots, and my Mommy and Daddy! This Spring I am much happier and I'm enjoying the beauty of the season, here at home, in Eugene. I'm a lucky grrl. I get to go to work with my Mommy and Daddy every single day. Our job is gardening so we go to lots of different gardens each day. Every time we get to the next garden, I get to jump out of my truck and take Mommy fur a walk! The past couple of weeks we've seen some very beautiful sights and sniffed some very fun smells. Mommy showed me how pretty the tiny li'l blossoms on the Flowering Plum trees are. They're dainty and light pink with pretty dark purple speckles. I have fun chasing the petals when the breeze blows and they flutter to the ground! I see lots of pretty yellow flowers - Mommy calls them Daffydils - *tee hee* They look so pretty when they bob their pretty heads in the cool Spring breeze on a sunny day. They look sooo yummy, but Momma says I shouldn't eat them - I should leave them fur other pups to and their mommies to enjoy. 'Nother thing we saw was some Momma sheep with their teeny, tiny li'l babies out in the bright green pastures out in the country. The li'l lambs have so much fun playing and they're cute as can be jumping and frolicking together while their mommas relax and graze on the tender new grass. Yep! I looove the Spring! I never would have guessed last year that this would be my most beautful and special time of the year. I can woof from pawsonal experience that Spring time is a time fur miracles to happen! I hope all of my pals and their families enjoy a beautiful, blessed Spring time - together with their families. I sure am! I hear her woof and I chase my tail fast as my li'l feet can go! See, Daisy a very, very special furiend who she and her mommy help look real hard fur me when I was... ummm...lost. Daisy's mommy help my mommy feel better by talkin' with her on her telephone and she even want to come all the way to Washington state from way far Virginia to help Momma look fur me! This is the entry I was going to have posted by Thanksgiving, but it just didn't work out like I had planned. So sorry fur the delay. I've done my furry best to try to remember each and every pup and kitty and every kind gesture, so pawlease furgive me if I've over-sniffed anypup or kitty. And if I have, pawlease pawmail me and let me know. I would certainly want to edit and include whatever I missed. I'm furry sad today to learn that our special and beloved furiend, Wilson, has gone to The Bridge. Wilson, his brother Cletis and their cousin, Tater, were major catalysts in helping to bring me home when I was lost and so far away fur so long. I'll miss my sweet furiend sooo much. Please accept my thanks fur all of the love, prayers, hard work and support that brought me back home to my family.......... Well, it is almost here. My furst and pawbably the most special Thanksgiving I will ever know. My family and I have so much to be thankful for and so many true, loyal and loving furiends to thank. As I lay curled up in my living room, in front of a warm fire, with my fur sisters and my pawents, I think of how blessed I am to be so loved and cared about by so many. This, the furst year of my life, has brought so much fur me to be thankful for. Starting in January, I was brought here to my furever home to be loved and cared for by my humommy and daddy. Not only am I lucky enough to stay together with my littermate, Link, but our older, full fur sibling, Zelda Marie, is here with us, too! And Penny Ann, our Doxie sister, is here to protect us and teach us respect and how to be good little pups. Life just couldn't have been better, when suddenly I found myself lost and alone and scared, missing my family, and wondering why I couldn't go home. When Mommy and I took a trip up to Auburn, Washington in April, someone decided to steal our car - and me, along with it. I was scared and didn't know who those strangers were. I wanted to be home with the family I love. I went to live with a nice lady, Jessica, who took good care of me and fed me and trained me and gave me a warm place to live. Still, I missed Link and Zelda and Penny. I missed my mommy and daddy and I wondered when they would come fur me and bring me home. I waited every day... fur a very long time, but still I couldn't find my family. Finally, one day, I went out fur a walk with Jessica and there she was!!!! My mommy! That was the happiest day of my life! I knew Mommy would come back fur me! I knew she would! Then Mommy told me the story of how she came to find me. When Mommy told our Dogster furiend, Sassy, and her mommy Sally, that our car had been stolen, along with me and Mommy's purse and all of her money, 300 miles away from home, Sally Fed-Ex'ed money to Mommy so she could have a good, hot dinner, get a safe, warm hotel to sleep in, and replace the medication that was in the car when it was stolen. Then Sassy woofed to all our pals in the Plus Forums and everypup decided that I needed to be found and brought back home to my family! Thank you Mommy Sassy and Sally! (((HUG))) Furry soon after, my super pawtastic and loving furiends, Tater, Wilson and Cletis created a Dogster group called Tater's Let's Help Find Teddi Sue Group, renamed "Tater's Let's Help Find Missing Pets Group" after I was found and back home with my family. That way Our Catster furiends and non Plus members could be involved. Mommy was sooo touched by that, that it made her cry. (Mommy did lots of crying while I was missing) Thank you, Tater, Wilson and Cletis, fur that beautiful gesture of love and support. Many wunnerful pups and kitties got right down to business and worked day and night, fur weeks on end, in that group, doing everything imageinable to help spread the woof and try to bring me back home. It's just about impawssible fur me to list each and every pup and kitty who helped, but here are a few, in no pawticular order: Of course, Tater, Wilson and Cletis! I love you all and I soooo appreciate each and every prayer, woof and gesture made to help me find my way home! So many wunnerful pups, and their mommies and daddies, started sending emails to shelters and veterinarians and rescues and lost and found sites on the internet asking everyone to watch fur me and help distribute fliers! Some friends posted notices about me on MySpace and other websites. Many, many of our furiends put my picture on their Dogster pages and sent pal requests to all of the Washington state Dogsters to help spread the woof about me being stolen. If anyone knows who made the original "Teddi Sue Missing" picture, that so many pups used as their main pic while I was ...ummm, 'lost', I'd be super happy if you would pawmail and tell me who that was. *BLUSH* I'd like to send them a puppy hug and a pressie fur their page! Fur some reason, I'm thinkin' it was Rox? My wunnerful pal, Rocky, and his mom Dee, called upon a friend of theirs, Daina, who lives near Auburn (the city I was stolen from). The furst thing Daina did was to give my mommy $100 of her own money, so Mommy could buy meals, make phone calls and pay fur an additional night in a motel. Then Daina emptied out her PayPal account so she could use it to take donations from our wunnerful Dogster furiends to help Mommy afford gas to make trips back and forth to Washington to look fur me, check the pounds, check out leads, print and post over 1500 fliers, and perhaps even start a reward fund. This was such a thoughtful and generous act and it really was the only way that Mommy was able to afford to get out and physically look fur me. So many of our Dogster and Catster furiends donated to the fund, it made Mommy's eyes leak! Mommy could not have managed it all without your help, We are furever grateful to you all. *** There are two furry special pups, and their mommy, who I will be furever grateful to fur driving fur over two hours, on their mommy's day off from work, to go to Auburn and walk around fur 5 hours, in the pouring rain, in a mobile home park looking fur me and calling my name, squeaking a squeaky toy, knocking on doors and talking to residents and handing out fliers. A man working at a nearby convenience store where Mommy had posted a flier, called and said that he was 99% sure that he saw me, earlier that same afternoon, just wandering around, looking lost, in the mobile home park where he lives. Thank you soooo much Lola, Yuki and Mommy Cecelia. I sure hope you didn't end up catching colds from being out in the cold, rain all day! You will always be heroines to me and Mommy! Robert Whale, a reporter from a small Auburn community newspaper, the Auburn Reporter, wrote a story to help spread the woof locally, that I had been stolen. He hoped that the story would open up alot of eyes and ears in the search fur me. Then he wrote a follow up story after I had been found. Pawts of that story were a little bit off, but fur the most pawt, he got it right and I know he meant nothing but the best fur me and Mommy. I'm having trouble finding the stories to post here, but if and when I do, I will edit them in at that time. Thank you, Mr. Whale, fur your help and your genuine concern fur my well-being. A very caring and kind-hearted friend, Ginger, from Ginger's Pet Rescue, posted a $500 reward fur infurmation leading to my safe return - no questions asked. She also spread the word wide and far through contacts of her Rescue Service all through the state of Washington. Thank you, Ginger! You're pawesome and I love you! I'm not certain who started it, but a candle page was created fur me so my furiends and loved ones could light candles and send prayers fur me. Mommy still goes there sometimes, on special occasions, or when she's feeling especially happy - or sad - or grateful, etc... and lights a candle fur me. Sweet, sweet Jezzie, Bruti and their Mommy Deanna, kept everypup up to date on my plight through their blog site For The Love of Dog. Thank you so much, Deanna, Jezzie and Bruti! Miss Afwe did a psychic reading and it is amazing how many things she saw that were right on or so close that it was eerie! Woohooo! GO MISS AFWE!!! Mommy was completely amazed! Thank you, Miss Afwe! A furry special and beautiful Chi furiend, Shorty wrote a furry touching poem fur me: I'm just a yittle baby And I don't know what to do Someone saw our friend today Let's hope they turn her lose She is just so teeny tiny and I hope dat you will see just what dis little baby really means to me It makes me cry these yittle tears to think of her out there so far away from her mommy who so much does care So if you will please Lord of dogs bring her back to me so we can hug and play all day and be a family We love you Teddi Sue, Please come home! On the day that Mommy drove to Seattle and brought me back home from Jessica's apartment, our fur friends stayed in contact with Mommy by cell phone the whole way up and back. Thank you, Sassy & Sally, Rocky, Mabelline & Dee, and Daina! Also, on our trip back HOME (there just isn't a sweeter word!), Daina and Dee invited us to stop at Daina's house, where we enjoyed a furry delicious lunch and coffee. Daina gave me one of her furry own doggie crates, cuz I never did get mine back. It disappeared with all the other stuff from our car. Then Daina gave us a huuuge bag of snacks and goodies fur the 5 hour drive home, so Mommy wouldn't have to stop anywhere and leave me alone in the car. Thank you Daina! I love you sooo much! Dee took pictures of me and Mommy and her furbaby, Mabelline. You can see those pics on my page. We sure had a grrreat time running and tumbling! That li'l Mabelline! She's a tough li'l cookie! Mommy, Dee and Daina all had fun, everyone was soooo happy! It was pawesome!!! When I got back home to Eugene and sniffed my Dogster page and pawmail, I found that several of my furiends had made 'Welcome Home' pics fur me! You can sniff those on my page. Thanks fur the pics, everyone! (((HUG))) ** One of our furst pup pals, and a furry close furiend of our furmily, Beatrix, started a Welcome Home Photo Stroll fur me! That was such a thoughtful and sweet thing to do, and it made me feel pretty special...*BLUSH* Thank you, Beatrix! Me LOVE you! I'm sure there are pups and kitties that worked hard and prayed and did things that I don't even know about. I know that some of those lost and found sites cost money to register - and I didn't spend one penny on any of those. Sooo many sent rosettes, pawmails, stars and emails with kind woofs and good wishes - and I'm sure there are some that I pawbably didn't get a chance to woof thanks or answer because our pages and pawmail boxes were so flooded we couldn't keep up! Mommy's email got so full the new emails started bouncing and Dogster had to ask us fur a different email address! *BLUSH* I just hope that everypup and everykitty and every Mommy and Daddy all know how furry, furry much My family and I love them - and how furry much we appreciate the love and kindness and support that was shown to us during that terrible, horrible nightmare that we went through. I am a furry blessed little grrrl to have so many wunnerful, pawtastic, and loving furiends who refused to give up on me. Who went through that nightmare right along with me. Thank sooo much! Today was kinda funny. It was just freeeezin' this morning, but then later the sun came out and it was quite a bit warmer so Mommy took my sweaters off me. It really was one of those butiful Fall days! Ya know, cool, but sunny an' real pretty with the blue sky an' all the pretty Fall leaves. Well, when it got to be the later pawt of the afternoon, it started to get chilly again. While Mommy was out mowin' someone's lawn, Daddy decided that I looked cold (and I was!) so he put my sweater on me. 'Cept, the funny pawt? He put it on me upside-down! Mommy sure got a laugh outa that! But she also thought it was kinda sweet in a special sorta way. I think I'm a pretty lucky li'l grrl to have a family who loves me so much. And they're not doin' too bad, either, cause I love 'em right back! And ya know what? Even though my sweater was on me upside-down, it still fit me pretty good and it did keep me warm! October 30th 2007 12:00 am   [link to this entry] Today while Mommy and Daddy were in Mr. Weise's yard, raking up his leaves, I stepped on the little button that locks both of the truck doors! ))PS! *giggle* What made it really funny was that Daddy had left the keys in the ignition and all the windows were rolled up! You shoulda seen how funny it was watching Mom and Dad try to get me to step on the bottom pawt of the button to unlock the doors again! They were calling me and bribing me with cookies and going to Petsmart! Finally, I started to feel sorry fur them, so I went over and stepped on the button. Boy! What a heroine I was then!!!! Teehee!! I guess they furgot I was the one who locked them out in the furst place! Now that was some good action! 2007 Oregon Dogster Meet-Up! October 21st 2007 10:02 pm   [link to this entry] Last Sunday was one of the funnest days I've had in a loooong time! It started out with Mommy loading all three of us Tater Tot grrls into the car! Just that clued us all in that we were in fur a real surprise! We all wanted to sit on Mommy's lap while she was driving, but she made us all sit in the seat next to her. So, we drove fur a looong time and then Mommy stopped and put a different tire on our car! She didn't seem very happy 'bout that, but she told us that we were goin' to get there no matter what!!!! *Hmmm.. Where, Mommy??? WHERE are we goin' to get???!!!* Then we drove some more (lots slower than we were drivin' before! ;) ) Next we stopped at a place where a man came out and took off the tire Mommy put on - and he put the other tire back on the car again! *Sheesh! What a waste of time!* So, off we go again! Mommy was back to drivin' fast again! *BOL* We drove an' drove - up big hills an' 'round curves an' down big hills. During this pawt of the trip, I managed to sneak over onto Mommy's lap! And she let me stay there! Then Penny Ann snuck over, too, and Mommy let her stay, too. Zelda Marie wanted on Mom's lap, too, but there wasn't quite enough room, so she sat up on the console and leaned against Mommy. The road was really curvey so Mom put her arm around Zelda to keep her from tumbling over every time we went 'round a curve! Needless to woof, we had a close and comfy (?) ride fur those 3 and 1/2 hours! BOL Finally the car stopped and Mommy let us out! We were at a great big park with lotsa grass and picnic tables... and some of our Dogster pals were there!!! Yup! We got to meet Princess, her fur father, Red, Scooter, and beautiful Dutchess! Mommy got to meet their mommy, Nancy, some of Nancy's friends, and her human daughter. Boy! Human mommies sure can talk alot!!! Even the man who watches over the park had his li'l pup there! She's a real young pup, fulla energy and sooo happy to have other doggies to play with. I can't remember her name, *BLUSH* but she is a real sweet li'l grrl. Nancy's friends had their handsome li'l weiner dog there. His name is Snoopy an' he looks jus' like Penny Ann, only way more masculine, of course! Us dogs got to run around and play and we all got along just grrreat! It was kinda cold, but not raining, and we just ran and played and that kept us warm enough. I couldn't believe all the presents and the grrreat big, huge, gigantic cake that was there! There were treats fur the dogs and treats fur the humans! I even got my furry own, special treat basket just fur me!!! How pawesome is that?!! Nancy said that's because I was such a brave li'l grrrl when I was stolen in Seattle and far away from home fur two months earlier this year. She said that all my pals were so happy that I found my way home, they wanted me to have a special surprise... just fur me! *BLUSH* I really wanna woof thanks to my furiends fur that special gift basket, and to Nancy fur organizing the meet-up and working so hard to make it such a special and happy time fur me and Mommy. She's a very special lady and we jus' really love her a bunch! And also, a huge thank you to the folks at Dogster fur donating pins, stickers, and t-shirts (fur humans & fur pups!) I got my furry own t-shirt, and so did Mommy! We had such a wunnerful time, so much fun!!! It was a furry special day that we will never furget! Nancy said she is going to plan another meet-up fur sometime next summer! I'll bet she'd love to have help organizing it, so if anypup wants to give her a paw, you can just woof to Princess and she will let her mommy know. We are really hoping that more of our furiends can make it fur the next meet-up! Over 400 pups were invited, but only 8 of us showed. And with how grrreat it was with just the 8 of us, I can only imagine what fun it would be if a whole bunch more were to come and play, too!!! Woohoooo!!!! I'm going to have Mommy put pictures of the meet-up on my page tonight, so I can show everypup how much fun we had and the wunnerful pressies that I got! I am such a lucky grrl and I have the bestest furiends in all the world! I hope each and every one of them know how much I love them! Woofs of Joy! Cheyenne is Home!!! Our sweet friend, Cheyenne is back home... safe, with her family!!!! *chases tail, bol* Here is a cross post from Cheyenne's mommy: August 31st 2007 11:22 am Sorry it's been so long since I posted - much has happened since I last wrote but most importantly............. We have great News !! ***** CHEYENNE IS HOME !!!! ********* This all started 5 days ago - when I got a call from a woman in Sea-Tac (BLESS HER!) who said she had been feeding a stray dog for about a month and she saw the posters and got a better look at Cheyenne and called to tell me that she would come into her yard to eat late at night - so I started camping out in front of her house just waiting - and sure enough she came for dinner each time - she was extremely scared and skittish at first - so for the first 3 nights all I could do is watch her from my car window - because if there was any movement she would bolt - but then last night ~~~~ Nothing short of a miracle happened last night! Cheyenne is here laying by my side and just last night - I was sitting out in front of that house again waiting for her to come running over for dinner - I had put her favorite snack in front of my car and a trail from the car to the food dish - and all of a sudden I heard a whimper from across the street - then she ran up to the front of the car and looked at me - ran to the side of the car - looked at me - I just sat there trying not to look directly at her - (because I was told this could take a couple weeks to gain her trust and she would not let anyone else approach her) the next thing you know she jumps up and sticks her head in the window! Luckily I remained calm and had a beggin (bacon) strip next to me - I handed it to her - she gobbled it up - I didn't quite get a hold of her - and she ran off with the treat - but just a second later - she came back and I opened the door and she practically jumped in my lap! - I hugged her over and over and she licked my face - this could not have gone any more perfect! She was so happy to see me and her car! She is so thin - I can feel every bone in her body - she looks like she's lost about half of her body weight - but other than that - she is acting and looks very healthy! No injuries - She knows she's home and knows her name - We are all ecstatic! She has been living in one of those overgrown Port of Seattle lots over by the Groomers and the Airport, and then coming out at night to cross the street and eat from the neighbors who, thank God, were feeding her. Star is so happy to see her too ! And to top it off - it was my husband's 40th Birthday last night. We are very blessed ! - And I am so happy to be able to share this incredible news with all the amazing people who have followed her story from the beginning, and came out on thier own time to help us look for her and for the many prayers that were said daily - God Bless all of you! If you have a lost pet - PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP - AND JUST KEEP PUTTING THOSE POSTERS UP AND TELLING AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE !!! MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!! It has been 4 months and 3 weeks since Cheyenne first went missing - and now she is HOME! : ) I will get pictures of her up as soon as we can - but rest assured - she is ok and so happy to be home! IF I could ask one more favor - if you are in our area and see a poster of Cheyenne and you are able to take it down for me - I would greatly appreciate it - I have well over 5000 posters and flyers out there, and will do my best to get them all taken down and now inform everyone that she is SAFE AT HOME!
