Bio:
My car was stolen in Auburn, Washington on Monday, April 16, 2007 with Teddi Sue inside of it in her crate. The car is a white 1990 Toyota Camry with Oregon license plates. Update: Friday, April 20, 2007 - My car was recovered on , near 21st and M street in Auburn, just a couple of miles from where it was stolen. Most of my personal belongings and our beloved Teddi Sue were no longer in the car. Since this awful nightmare has begun, our Dogster friends have stepped up and shown us tremendous love and support in our search for Teddi Sue. They are here for us when some of our own blood relatives have ignored us and turned us away. We feel very blessed and grateful to be cared about and loved by so many kind and wonderful friends. No matter what the outcome, our family will be forever grateful to our dear and true Dogster friends. UPDATE: June 3, 2007: Teddi Sue is now back home with us! We found her living in Seattle with a lady named Jessica . Thank you to Jessica for taking care of Teddi Sue and for keeping her safe while she was away from home. We give our unending gratitude to all of out Dogster and Catster friends who worked so hard to find Teddi Sue and gave our family their love, support and prayers. Thank you to Ginger at Ginger's Pet Rescue for offering a reward for the safe return of Teddi Sue. And thank you to Robert Whale and the Auburn Reporter for printing a story on Teddi Sue asking the public to keep a eye out for her. Our family has been overwhelmed by all of the love and prayers that have been sent our way. Thank you to everyone who helped to bring Teddi Sue back home! This here is one pack who are true believers in Power of the Paw! It works! Thank dog! We love you Dogster and all of our pawsome doggy and kitty furiends and their families, too... FUREVER!!!

Mud Puddles Are Tons O' Fun! bol

Today Momma and Daddy loaded me up in the work truck and we went to the dump to get rid of all the grass clippings and trimmings from the shrubs they trimmed at work yesterday. While Daddy unloaded the truck, Momma and I went over to the booth, like we always do, and my friend who works there, a nice man named Shaun, let me grab a cookie out of the cookie box that they keep there fur pups like me.

After I got lovins from Shaun and ate my cookie, Momma took me fur a walk out to the mailbox, where I always poop and Mom cleans it up, then we crossed the street to the parking lot.

The night before, it rained like crazy so there was a giant mud puddle! It was pawsome! It musta been at least 6 inches deep and about 6 feet across. A grrreat size fur slappin' and biting the splashes! I had sooo much fun that later in the afternoon Momma and Daddy decided to take me to the river to swim! Mom said that would be much nicer than a mud puddle, but I really thought the puddle was fine. It was okay, though! The river is grrreat!

Penny Ann got to come along, too, because she really, really loves to swim, too, even though she's a wiener dog.

So, while I stood in the water up to my tummy, Penny Ann took a grrreat big dive right into the deep pawt, where the drop-off is! She can swim surprisingly well fur a pup with one-inch long legs and... well.... *whispers* a tubby, li'l tummy! *giggle*

We both had a furrific time and Momma and Daddy had lots of fun watching us. Those pansies just stayed on the bank, though, afraid to get their li'l toesies wet! BOL

Betchya when it gets just a little bit hotter out, they'll step in and get their tootsies wet, too!

What a fun day! Tonight I'm pretty tired. Bitin' all those splashes can take alot outa of a pup. Even a young, spunky, little grrrl like me!

Gonna go curl up under my blankie and have a li'l nap now. Woof ya again soon.:)

Wuf 'n kissies, Teddi Sue♥

The Birdie's Nest

Furst of all, sorry it took so long fur me to get back to the tale of the bird's nest we found at Mrs. Bates' house. Here's what finally happened.....

Thursday came again so Mom, Dad and I went to Mrs. Bayes' yard, like usual. When we got there we were surprised to see that there was absowoofly no sign at all of the little birdie's nest!

Mrs. Bates musta saw Momma looking fur it because she came outside and told Momma that she had noticed the baby birdies standing up on the side of the nest several times over the past few days. Then, one day she came home from the store and she checked on the nest and saw that it was empty! No more babies - no more mommy! The li'l babies had obviously gotten up their couraged and jumped! They spread their little wings and off they went! Now they are out there somewhere having all the kinds of fun that little birds have. :)

Anyway, it was a grrreat experience, and lots of fun, to see it all unfold. We're just kinda bummed that we didn't get to see those little birdies enjoying the pawsome gift they have of being able to fly. Still, it makes us smile to know that they made it! Momma says it's a big, tough world out there, especially fur a tiny baby bird.

A Springtime Miracle

So, ya know I go to work with Mommy and Daddy every day. Well, we got a big surprise a couple of weeks ago at one of our customer's house.

Mommy was just standin' there, sorta watching Daddy blow off the front porch at Mrs. Bates' house, when she noticed a bird peeking out of the decoration that's hanging there near the front door.

That's pretty cool! Ya know, most wild birds are scared of people and don't like to hang around too close to them, but this bird chose a spot about 6 feet from Mrs. Bates' front door, about 5 feet or so up from the floor, to build a nest! Momma peeked in there while the bird was gone and she saw a couple teeny, tiny little eggs in there!

So.... the next week when we went back to Mrs. Bates' house, Mommy checked and yup! The bird was still sitting there in the nest.

Okay! One more week and then when we got there.... no bird. Hmmm..... so, Mommy waited. While she was mowing the grass, she kept a watch out to see if the bird would come. Nope. So, when Momma finished mowing, she quietly, slowly walked up onto the porch. She went over to where the nest is and she stood up on her tippy-toes and peeked in. Baby birds! She couldn't really tell how many because she just peeked real quick then ran away so she wouldn't bug the momma bird. She just saw that there were at least 2 babies and she saw them move!

So, Mommy went out across the yard and waited fur a few minutes. Sure enough, here comes the momma bird! She swooped right in there and landed in her nest. She was there fur a minute or two then she took off again. Mommy said she thinks the momma bird was going to find food to bring back fur her babies.

I have a couple pictures on my page of the bird in her nest.

Tomorrow we go back to Mrs. Bates' house so Mommy is going to bring the camera again. She hopes to get a picture of the baby birds poking their little heads up out of the nest. Or maybe, if we're real lucky, she'll get a picture of the momma bird feeding the babies! Wouldn't that be pawsome?! We aren't real sure how long the babies will stay in the nest before they're big enough to leave and learn how to fly, and we don't want to disturb the momma bird and make her abandon the nest, so Mommy will have to be real careful. If she does get any good pictures, I'll be sure and put them on my page and update my diary so I can share this totally pawsome miracle with all my furiends.

So now Mommy has a reason not to hate the rain so much! Sure, it makes her job alot harder and messier, but it also makes worms come up above the ground so that momma bird can find some to feed to her little babies. :)

I have to let Penny Ann back on the 'puter now so she can play the Dog Breed Photo Game, but be sure and stay tuned fur updates on how the momma bird and her babies are doin'!

Oh! And happy Spring to all my furiends out there in Dogsterville! WOOF!

XO, Teddi Sue ♥
