Bio:
For the first 3 weeks of my life with Mom, I was deathly ill. The vet told Mom I might not make it. But I did eventually get well. I am fine now.

We can't go to the hayfield this week, Milton is cutting the hay. I can't wait until it is bailed. Then we can run all over the field with wild abandon.
Our last visits to the hayfield have been confined to the picnic area at the creek, due to the fact that the hay was so tall. We don't fancy walking into tall grass, so we just stay in the area Steve keeps mowed for Sunday dinners.
We aren't invited to Sunday dinner because one of the toddlers is afraid of dogs. Sigh.

This weekend was a mixed bag. Saturday night was bath night, and that was the usual nightmare. I detest anyone touching my feet, and Mom was so rude. She wrapped me up in her pajamas until I was quite unable to move, and then proceeded to cut off my nails. I do not understand her reasoning. I might have need of those bits she so callously snips.

The good part was that we spent the whole of Sunday cuddling with Mom. I took long naps draped across her chest, with my head on her shoulder. Rainy Sundays rock.

The place under my eye has healed beautifully. Once the hair grows back, you will never be able to see that anything happened.

Mom has worried a lot about me this week, since it has stormed some. She doesn't want me to be alone during a storm, but sometimes the storms come while she is at work.

Last summer a huge boom of thunder came and it was so loud, it actually shook the house. Ever since that day, I shake with fear at thunder.
