I've Been On Dogster Since:
I have been tagged by my good pal Medea. Now I am it and have to choose 7 of my pals to tag.
Rules:
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!
1. I love to chase squirrels.
2. I sleep only in my Mommy's arms and absolutely HAVE to touch Maya at the same time.
3. I collect pieces of carrots. I stash them on Momma's bed. Gotta restock my stash every day tho for some reason she keeps throwing them away
4. I am addicted to donuts.
5. I LOVE to be hugged and kissed.
6. My favorite toy is chasing a laser pointer light.
7. Don't be fooled by my angel face. Took me a while to perfect it in the pure image of innocence. That's what I use if I do something I'm not supposed to.
I've tagged
1. Poky Little Puppy
2. gypsy rose
3. Paco
4. Iaro Furia
5. Little Miss Marley Mulhall
6. Pete
7. Faye
You all have no idea how hard that was to find someone that hasn't already been tagged!!
Remember I have told you when Mommy got me on the 7th of January, she ran real fast (not to leave me alone too long) to a nearby store and bought a red felt scarf and made me a winter coat (it was one of those winter storms).
Today we got one of those weird cold snowy (?!?) days in Oklahoma City, not much snow, some flurries but still very cold. So when Mommy took us out she decided to put the coat on me. Well guess what? It doesnt' fit me anymore! I mean, around my tummy it still does but the length doesn't. It barely reaches a good hand-width above my tail!
Mommy is now studying the photos she took then and comparing them to how I look now. Gee, I was such a puppy!!!!!
I managed to get all the way to the end of the front lawn without spooking out. I am still getting scared while my harness is being put on, but once it's on, I'm much better. I think I have some bad memories of "oh harness/collar on, means I'm gonna be abandoned somewhere".
Today was the day I went all the way to the street without getting scared. Well, Mommy had to put a brick on the porch to stop the glass door from closing. If that door closes I get really scared and want to go back inside. But I think I wanted to go to all the way to the street because I had been watching Maya trotting past the house several times while she was getting trained. I wanted so bad to be with her but I'm still a scaredy cat. Oh well, the time will come. I am working on it.
It was INTERESTING. There were PEOPLE out there. And there was a doggie next door who tried to come to me but his pawrent didn't let him. Wasn't sure how I was sa-pposed to react so I just stood still and watched to see what Mommy says. She said "no" so I turned around. Man, oh, man, but I betcha that doggie would have liked to play some. There were a lot of smells in the grass, so I was very busy sniffing (didn't forget to watch that entrance door always with the corner of my eye, to make sure that my escape back inside was always open).
I'm doing good, huh? huh? tomorrow I'm going to try to reach the neighbor's driveway.
