Best Tricks: Shake/High Five, Roll Over, Speak Arrival Story: We have owned Madison since she was 8 weeks old and it has been a roller coaster ever since! I had liked corgis for a long time, since I had seen Ein on Cowboy Bebop! (What a surprise) I began to read up on them and find out what they were all about. At the time I had an older cat named Zach that was a diabetic I had rescued, so I had put having a puppy out of my mind. Unfortunately Zach continued to have medical problems and eventually had a stroke and had to be put to sleep. It was devastating to me and I cried every day after that. A few months went by and one day something made me check the puppy listings in the paper and there was one for Pembroke Corgis. The first time I saw her she was only 3 weeks old, and I put a deposit down on her right then. The next 6 weeks felt like the longest of my life. I am really enjoying having Maya around now. I even let her eat in peace and don't try to steal her food anymore. Mom is proud needless to say! I am trying to teach her how to act. She is sooo wild. I am glad she cannot get on the couch yet because that means I can get up there and rest! I have to go to the doctor tomorrow to get some vaccines updated but Mom promises to take me to Care-A-Lot afterwords to pick out a new toy! Maya can't go because she is not done with all her vaccines so it is our little secret. It has to be an "indestructible" toy though. I don't like those as much. *sigh* Why can't she just spend all the money in the world on stuffed toys I can destroy in 5 minutes??
Well.....my new sister has been here for over a week now. I love her very uch, but sometimes mommy says I am getting too rough when we play. Also I hate the fact that she likes to eat my food and hers too! But I just lay there and let her eat it until mommy comes and makes her stop! Mommy and daddy also keep telling me to teach her what to do and what not to do. When she starts doing something bad like eating a sock I join in until mommy or daddy sees me and then I go to the other side of the room and act innocent *wink wink* I hope they are not on to me :).
My mommy finally came home on Wed. night! I was so excited to see her and wanted to sit on top of her all night to make sure she did not leave again :)
