I am so excited I can hardly stand it. My mama entered my picture,( the one with me wearing the pretty hat), into a local internet photo contest that had several catagories for winners. The catagories were Best Dressed, Magnicent Mutt, Owner-Lookalike and Ugliest Dog. This contest went on for a few weeks and then the Winner was to be announced at the Civic Center Lubbock Pet Fair and guess what I WON for Best Dressed. I had the most votes. I have never won anything in my life. Want to know what I won? Huh? Huh? I won a photo shoot with a local photography for a free 8X10 of myself. Isn't that great!!! Of course when I get it, I will have to enter in on my dogster page. It all started with a great local website started by a real nice lady named Sandy Parker. The website is called LubbockFunClub.com and anyone can join. They have all kinds of fun stuff there. Just info in case anyone is ever coming to visit Lubbock.
That is my most exciting news. I still stay in the house with my little pals T.K. and Rhino-Mejo. Mejo is just getting older and gripier. His birthday is at the end of this month and he will be 13 years old. Mom says that is really old in dog years. I don't know what she means by that but I could tell it just by looking at the old guy. He bumps into me because he can't hardly see anymore. Sometimes I stick out my leg when he is walking, just to see him trip. I can sneak up on him and take away his bones, if I come in from the back of him because he cannot hear very well either. It sure makes him come a chasing after me though. T.K. just thinks he is smart all the time because he is so little. He just walks under me when I am standing just like I am a bridge he is going under or something. He growls at me if I get too close to his bones and I have to admit I am a little afraid of him because he is fast and likes to bite my mouth and nose and it really hurts and makes me holler. Then if people are around they just laugh because he is so little beating be up, but you know I just can't fight him back because I am afraid of hurting him, but don't tell him. Well I guess I will close for now. Write more later. Woof! Woof!
