Birthday: October 13th 2000 Likes: Treats of course! Pet-Peeves: None - he's a gentle soul. Favorite Toy: Kongs stuffed with treats. Favorite Food: Any people food. Best Tricks: Catching the tennis ball in his mouth. Arrival Story: An Adopt-A-Pet event was taking place at our local pet store in Oct. 2001. The story told was that he was running wild in a field with another dog. A nice lady who is a member of a dog rescue group captured him and fostered him until he was socialized and ready to be adopted. I looked into Chance's eyes and he begged me to take him - I don't think I had a choice or a chance - thus his new name! He was treated for worms the first week, but other than that, he's been a healthy, happy and grateful dog. Bio: Chance has a fluffy, beautiful tail that arches over his back; but, when he is sad or scared, the tail retreats between his back legs. He also has a strange, sharp bark when I come home and he is trying to get my attention. The same sound also comes out when the other dogs try to get my attention at the same time he wants it.
