Arrival Story:
Spenser came from a breeder in Rockwall, TX in Jan. 2000. He has been a handful from the start, including a short time on Prozac and extensive obedience training. He is just now showing signs of calming down...unless he smells a rabbit! His name came from the show "Spenser for Hire" because my husband had a man-crush on Robert Urich. Nerdy, I know.

Bio:
Spenser has bad, bad manners. He burps and makes other unmentionable noises. For him, the burp doesn't count unless he does it right in your face. I try to explain to my husband that he is simply showing his appreciation for our feeding him, but he's not buying it. He plays very rough with his siblings, but they let him know when they've had enough. Our chihuahua will growl at him if he thinks Spenser has eaten too much, and Spenser will actually walk away! He's truly a gentle giant.
