Happy Rainbow Bridge Day Molly! I've been talking about you all day. NeeNee and I are on vacation right now. Everywhere we went today, we met shih tzus or people who have/had shih tzus. I got to tell everyone about you - what a sweet, funny, playful, stubborn, silly girl you were. I miss you every day. I especially miss you being here to teach these other 2 shih tzus girls, Nee & Lily, BOL!!! But I miss YOU missy. You're always in our hearts. I hope you're getting some good treats for today, I know how you like them. Sending lots of kisses and love to you, baby girl.

Happy Birthday Molly! We love you SO much and miss you even more. You set the standard for what a shih tzu should be, and boy do our girls need you now LOL!!! I think about you every day, when I watch NeeNee walk and it reminds me of you, or I watch spunky Lily running around playing like you did. Or the boys are running and I think of you running on the beach with them and Georgie. We had so many good moments together, sweet girl. Those moments fill my heart with such good memories.

Sending big hugs and kisses to you, sweet girl, from all of us. Happy Birthday baby.

I had a moment with Dr. Porte today reminiscing about you! Big sigh!!! Both Dr. Farkus's who took care of you are now at UC Davis. They remember you too.

Love you sweet girl. Mom

Happy Birthday sweet Molly! Mommy & daddy miss you so much, but we feel we were so lucky to have you in our lives. We think about you at the beach, at home chasing the laser light and cracking open the walnuts for the other dogs LOL! You always were ready to try anything, but had that shih tzu attitude to do it when you were ready. We're visiting your daughter Maggie now at Uncle Jim & Aunt Peggy's. She is doing well. You brought so much joy to so many people. I wish you were here with us to teach our newest shih tzus. NeeNee is scared and needs to learn about how to have confidence like you always had. Lily is puppy crazy and needs to learn her boundaries, something you would've taught her in no time. The schnauzer boys Finnegan & Winston miss playing with you too. We never have decided if you were the honorary schnauzer, or they were the honorary shih tzus BOL!!!

I know you're having a party with Boomer, Annie, Georgie, Tigger and Socks. Enjoy sweet girl, you deserve eternal happiness.

love you,
mom

Dear Sweet Molly,

Happy Birthday to you, baby! We hope you are enjoying a party in the heavens with your fur family Boomer, Annie, Georgie, Tigger & Socks, and your human brother Andrew and uncle Randy. We think of you often, telling Molly stories. We wish you were here to teach NeeNee a few shih tzu things LOL! The parrots still call out to you, and mom always says "Hi Molly!" when she hears it, she is so sure you are near. We remember your spunky little self, haughtily walking around the house, yard and neighborhood like it was your royal grounds. And how you loved to run up to everyone on your walks, you thought they were there to pet YOU! We miss your sweet kisses pretty girl, as well as hugging and kissing you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! WE LOVE YOU! Someone give her a belly rub, she loves it!

Finnegan, Winston, NeeNee, Mom and most of all Dad

Mom saw this posted and had to repost. It is too beautiful not to share! Thank you to the author.

“On the morning of September 11, 2001”

On the morning of September 11, 2001, there was an unprecedented amount of activity at the Rainbow Bridge. Decisions had to be made. They had to be made quickly. And, they were.

An issue, not often addressed here, is the fact that many residents really have no loved one for whom to wait. Think of the pups who lived and died in hideous puppy mills. No one on earth loved or protected them. What about the many who spent unhappy lives tied in backyards? And, the ones who were abused. Who are they to wait for?

We don't talk about that much up here. We share our loved ones as they arrive, happy to do so. But we all know there is nothing like having your very own person who thinks you are the most special pup in the Heavens.

Last Tuesday morning a request rang out for pups not waiting for specific persons to volunteer for special assignment.. An eager, curious crowd surged excitedly forward, each pup wondering what the assignment would be.

They were told by a solemn voice that unexpectedly, all at once, over 4,000 loving people had left Earth long before they were ready. All the pups, as all pups do, felt the humans' pain deep in their own hearts. Without hearing more, there was a clamoring among them - "May I have one to comfort?" "I'll take two, I have a big heart." "I have been saving kisses forever."

One after another they came forward begging for assignment. One cozy-looking fluffy pup hesitantly asked, "Are there any children coming? I would be very comforting for a child 'cause I'm soft and squishy and I always wanted to be hugged." A group of Dalmatians came forward asking to meet the Firemen and be their friends. The larger working breeds offered to greet the Police Officers and make them feel at home. Little dogs volunteered to do what they do best, cuddle and kiss.

Dogs who on Earth had never had a kind word or a pat on the head, stepped forward and said, "I will love any human who needs

Then all the dogs, wherever on Earth they originally came from, rushed to the Rainbow Bridge and stood waiting, overflowing with love to share - each tail wagging an American Flag.

A Poem from my friend Crystal

On the 1 year anniversary of my passing. Thank you, Crystal!

Walk With Me (by Munda)

Walk with me, the path of life,
to explore every bend of the road
Enjoy with me the beauty of life,
along its wonderful way

Find comfort with me, in each other's arms,
when grief crosses our path
Find strength with me, in each other's strength,
when despair lies in wait

Laugh with me, a single true laugh,
to enlighten another's distress
Cry with me, a single true tear,
to understand true happiness

Cherish with me, the wonders of life,
as they need to be preserved
Rejoice with me, in the mysteries,
of what is yet to be

Find peace with me, in each other's souls,
when the world has gone insane
Find love with me, in each other's hearts,
until this life has been fulfilled

And when the path comes to an end
I hope we can say from within
We've known the beauty of true love,
our love came from within

One Year Since You Left Us

Dear Molly,

It's been a year since we last had you with us. We miss you so. It has been a rough year even thinking about you not being here with us. Your passing was so sudden, a blood clot during your recovery from surgery when we thought we were going to pick you up. So sad. I miss hearing the tap of your feet as you followed me around the house. Your big brown eyes looking up at me when I came out of the shower. Your whining for some running water or your dinner. I loved the way you loved new experiences. You loved going on vacations, riding in the car, going for walks, anything or anywhere we'd take you. You were always such a happy girl. You loved everyone you met! For so long when I went for a walk without you, the neighbors all asked for you. Finnegan & Winston miss running in the yard with you. Daddy misses you the most, his little girl. He misses the hugs and kisses, always sitting on his lap for your belly rub.

It's hard to believe it's already been a year. We love you so much sweet girl. Every once in a while I think I feel a presence that feels like you. The parrots call out to you. Every time they do, I say Hi Molly! Do you hear me sweet girl?

You'll always be in our hearts sweetie. We love you now & always.

love mom
