Coco has been with us one whole year!

In some ways it seems like we just got Coco. But in another way......it seems like she has always been here. This has been a really rough year. REALLY rough. And I honestly dont know how I would have made it through without this little poofy fluffball. She is the little sidekick I always hoped for. She keeps me company. She TRIES to keep me warm (although I think it's me keeping her warm most of the time) She knows when I need her and she's always there. She's my shadow, my *guard dog*, my sidekick. I love my little poofers!

Coco got a new *haircut* a week or so ago. My friend and I decided to do it ourselves and got a little silly. We left her with furry *boots*, a super *floofy* tail, and a *poofy* face. But she looks ADORABLE!!!! I'll take her to the groomers again sometime in the near future, but for now I love her new *do*!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love this puppy?

I am not sure if I have quite got the message out there just how much I love this little ball of fluff. LOL!!! Okay okay...........maybe I have. But I do.......love her. Very very very much. ;) We took Coco to petco for the first time since she was a teeny tiny puppy. She LOVED every second of it. She couldnt quite understand why everyone in the store did not stop what they were doing to come over and meet her. She thought she should be the star of the show, like at home. She wanted to meet all the other dogs, (some were a liiiiiittttle bit scary for my baby). But the highlight was the treat bar. I think we bought one or two of everything. Her favorite so far are these little tiny peanut butter bears. I know what one little fluffy puppy is getting for her birthday!!!! ;)

A 6 pound fluffy guard dog?

Oh this little dog cracks me up. She is such a little guard dog! Who needs ADT when you have a morkie??? If she hears anything at night that doesnt sounds quite right she perks up, and barks like crazy. Then.........like ANY ferocious beast.............she climbs BEHIND me and peeks out as if to say *I heard something........save me*. But at least she alerts me. She may be tiny........but she definitely makes me feel safe. Love my little Puffer!!!!

Big girl

I recently took Coco to a family reunion at a park. When i got home, my mother called laughing. She said that my grandmother said "Robin must be so disappointed in how BIG Coco got. She is just huge". First let me say..........I would love Coco if she grew to be 200 pounds and I would love Coco if she had stayed 2 pounds her whole life. NExt let me say...........I weighed Coco a few days ago and she weighs a WHOPPING 6 lbs 4 oz. I think the extra 4 ounces might just be fluff that is growing back!!! It's so funny to think that anyone would describe my dog as *HUGE*. Is she bigger than she was when we got her? Yep..........is she ginormous???? Ummm.........no. She's just the right size to fit into that little spot in my heart that was looking for *something*. She's so much more than I ever could have hoped for in a puppy.

Also wanted to add a note about Coco's new profile photo. Her ears do not stand up on their own. And although if the wind caught her just right she might launch into the sky.........Coco can not fly. I took this photo of her with her head flipped upside down and then I just flipped the photo. I love it though!

Coco's fur is finally growing out and she is getting all fluffified again! I loved her haircut............but oh how cute she is all fluffy too!!! Her fur has turned to kind of a strawberry blonde color with lighter tips. So cute!!!! Looks like she spent a day at the salon getting highlights. LOL!

She is quite certain she is tough. She doesnt know just how un-ferocious she us though. (we just dont have the heart to tell her) We say *Coco is as TUFF AS A CREAM PUFF!* Which is soooooo true!

Love this little dog soooo much!!!!! I just dont know what I would do without her in my life.

It's just amazing what a new haircut did for my girl!! SHe is so much more playful. maybe because she can see better........maybe because she was weighed down by all that fur........I dont know. But she is definitely much happier. She looks so cute with her new "do".

Gosh it's been forever since I have updated this page! Life got a little crazy........

Anyways......Coco got her first BIG GIRL haircut yesterday. I really didnt want to have her shaved down, but she still had all that puppy hair and it was getting so tangled with her big girl fur coming in..........so we shaved her. I was so scared to go pick her up at the groomers. I just had no idea what she would look like! But she is absolutely adorable!!! She is so soft!!! I'm planing on letting her grow out and then leave her in a puppy cut because she is soooooooo dang skinny and I worry that she'll freeze this summer in the air conditioning!!!!

I weighed her last night...........at 7 months she is weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds.

Mullets are cool...........right???

YEah.........Coco went to the groomers for the first time and came home with a mullet. I am sooo bummed. I asked them to trim up her *bootie* area but to leave her head alone because I am growing that hair out to put pretty bows in......... Well apparently they cant tell the difference between a puppy butt and a puppy head. UGh...............poor Coco. She's so embarrassed.

Cowboy magic

It has been soooo cold here so Coco has been wearing sweaters almost every day. Her fur started to mat on her front legs where the sweaters rub. She wouldnt let me brush them (I'm sure it doesnt feel very good after all!!!) I did some research and found out about this stuff called "cowboy magic" . It really did work!!!! I worked it into the parts that were all tangled, and then just started taking little pieces and brushing until the matts were all gone. She got bored.......so i had to break it down into small little sessions. But I could tell it wasnt hurting her. Sooooo happy to have found this product!!! I really really didnt want to shave my girl down!!!!!!
