Carrots/veggies, peanut butter, greenies, yogurt drops... & some

Favorite Walk:
We go to the Krap nightly. I also think the beach Rocks!!! Bring on those waves baby!!!!

Best Tricks:
Aside from my Service Dog training; Catching a ball/other toy or tossed treat & balencing a ball on the top of my head. :D

Arrival Story:
A very lucky twist of fate brought my little man too me. He was the result of a very looong search for the perfect Service Dog (Google 'Service Dogs' to learn all about them & to see how different they are from 'Therapy dogs') pup. He was meant to go to someone else, it hurt as he was a pup that had all the things I was looking for in service puppy. I was set to wait for the repeat breeding. I happened to email his breeder (just to check) I timed it perfectly! Just 15 min before my email the former owners canceled as their older female GSD had broken its leg. They didn't think it was right to have a pup in the house as their girl healed, so they waited for the next litter. Krycek then came home to us & started his Service Dog puppy training! :)

Bio:
Krycek (pronounced "Cry-Check". The 'H' is spoken but not written) is named after the character "Alex Krycek" in the tv show The X-Files, its a Russian surname. Krycek's Sire: VA-1 Superioue's Zathan {2003 North American Sieger & International Champion} Krycek's Dam: V-1 Quana vom Haus Dexel {National & International Champion} Krycek's registered name is: SG Dylan von Schwartz. He entered into his very first confirmation show on 7-11-04. He was just 15 months old. With just one days training at the breeders & no experience he earned his SG title & won a trophy! We are so proud of him! We promise to stop bragging now! ;) :) ----- With a heavy heart I have been forced to retire my boy from Service Dog training. Dec 04 he was diagnosed with severe genetic Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. After many weeks of rapid weight loss & miss diagnosis we finally found out the cause. Krycek went from weighing in at 80 pounds, to weighing in at 48 pounds.... EPI is a horrible lifelong disease that can cause life-threatening relapses in effected dogs. Due to Krycek's poor health unfortunately I have been forced to retire him from duty. Hopefully we can still expect a nice long life out of my very young man. He now holds titles of, SG, retired SD & personal assistant #2.
