He is currently waiting to have his second heart operation. We really hoping he gets his surgery soon and makes a quick recovery.

Oh no

Never guess what I did. I laid next to the rat cage and my ear was leaning against their cage. Well they must not have liked that because the next thing I knew OUCHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! they bit my ear. It was bleeding pretty good and I shook my head as mom was getting the napkin to hold on my ear and blood when flying every where.

Momma says after what happend last time with me being attacked I'm just an accident waiting to happen.

Feeling better but medicine is YUCKY!

I'm feeling so much better now. Mom says to look at me you wouldn't know I was hurt as bad as I was until I try to lay down. I still have some pain when I try to lay down from the cut under my arm.

I have to take pills and I really dont like them. I usually am a good dog and will swallow them but I'm tired of medicine (ITS YUCKY!) To make me feel better after I take them I get one of my favorite treats......Candy Canes. It is one of my most favorite things about Christmas time and the month after is having these great treats. It really helps get the taste of medicine out of my mouth.

I'm going to go nap on the kids beds while they are at school. Momma says I'm wearing a dent right in the center of each of their beds. I told her if she would just let me lay on her bed that wouldn't happen ;)

Trying to heal

I went to the vet yesterday and got checked out and a perscription for some antibiotics. Mom wasn't very happy with the vet because she didn't feel I was in enough pain for her to give me pain meds.
Mom went to the store and got me some baby asprin to take to at least help.

I am feeling a little better today. I actually wanted to go outside this morning. Yesterday momma had to make me go outside to go potty. I slept most of the day yesterday on mommas bed (I usually never want to be up there). I actually tried my best to stay laying there and convince momma to let me sleep in her spot and she sleep on the couch. Unfortuanately she just got some comforters and made me a bed next to hers.

Ive been eating well and getting lots of treats. Momma fixed me a turkey sandwhich for lunch and some chicken breast for dinner. I even get some beggin strips when I have to have my wounds cleaned.

Well I'm off to take a nap

I was attacked

I was attacked when I was let out in our fence yard to go potty last night around 7 pm. I was outside for only 5 mins inbetween the rain to go potty in our fenced yard. When my mom let me and my brother in I my legs were covered in blood and I had a deep puncture under my arms. Momma thinks it may have been a raccoon. I was able to protect my brother since he is just a little guy but I was hurt. Moms praying if it was a raccoon or possum that it didnt have rabis. She is searching the house for my certificate becuase she can't remember if I got the one year shot or 3 yr and it was 2 yrs ago that I had my last one. She is taking me to our vet in the morning and they should have it on file.

My other brother was killed 1 1/2 yrs ago by another dog in our yard and I wasn't able to protect him. Im just glad I was able to protect my new brother

My Birthday is coming soon...........

My birthday is May 11th, 2005. I wasn't actually born on mothers day but it happens to fall on mothers day this year. My human brother was born on may 11th, 2003 was actually born on mothers day. I think its neat that we share the same birthday. Mom swears she is going to fix my page up for my birthday but she didn't have the money for plus this month so she can't. I hope she can get it back before May. She said she will also put so pics of me up. Maybe she will let me wear a fancy party hat.

Well moms getting ready to make dinner and she needs my help. She is a little clumsy and I need to help her "pick up" what she drops. Hey I can't help it if I accidently swallow it.....I don't have fingers you know.

My Brother Mickey

Yesterday Momma brought home this small little dog. Hes tiny. My tail is bigger than he is. Momma says he is my new brother. I gave him lots of kisses. We even shared a bowl of food. He did let me have some but after i started chowing down on his puppy food he gave me a little growl so I walked away and let him have his food. Momma said I have to be careful and watch where I step so I don't step on him. He is too small for momma to let us have to much time together but I get to sniff him and give him kisses all the time.

My human bro is sick again

Momma is cleaning the whole house and disinfecting everything because my human brother is sick again. I hate when hes sick. I'm laying with him watching Winnie the Poo right now, its our favorite show. When he gets sick momma has to totally clean the house which is good but I really don't like the smell of all those cleaners. They make me sneeze alot so momma is keeping me in her room with my brother watching t.v. until she is done spraying and wiping and stuff like that. Then she told me she will move us into the living room so she can clean her room too. She told me I can't get sick from my brother but I dont care even if I could. I love him anyway. Especially since he told me he would give me some chicken noodle soup and crackers later while mommas not looking.

Shhhhh just keep it our little secret I don't think she knows he gives me all kinds of table food.

Well commercials over I got to go now.
