Favorite Food: Bologna! And any candy he finds on the floor.
Favorite Walk: The living room and our bedroom. And all areas in between.
Best Tricks: He shakes when you tell him to "Slap me some skin."
Arrival Story: Mom and dad left him on our doorstep in a baby buggy with a bonnet on his head to keep him warm from the cold. Then they boarded a plane to Jolly Old Netherlands where they forgot about old Tazy-dog. So we took him in and adopted him as Tazy-dog "Jasper" Huffman. We treat him like he's our own.
Bio: Tazy is a world traveler. He was born in Hungary, where he was quickly abandoned by his birth mother (notice a theme?). He and his sister were left to themselves and were constantly running from mean people who were shooting puppies. Awww. So the original owners (whose names will not be mentioned - Jasper), the male of the two, smuggled the puppies back to Germany to be loved by new families. Tazy lived for many wonderful years in Germany with three kids when he received news that he was going to be drugged and sent on a flying machine to the land of Colorado.
Tazy arrived in ye olde United States quite unhappy - he had been in a crate in the bottom of the flying machine for many, many hours. Then he traveled through many of this lands' states to the land of the high peaks (no, not Apex, yet). He spent many good years in the land of the Rockies. Then he received word that he would be travelling to ye olde VA.
And then NC. And then when his parents abandoned him, he found himself in good old Roanoke. It served him well. And Tazy did grin. And lick himself and his new owners a lot.
