3 plus years ago this very day, as my mommy and papi tell me, they set out in the SUV with a little basket and blanket to the breeders in Sarasota Florida. 3 hours away!

Mom had done an extensive web search for 2 years, wanting a Yorkie soooooooooooo badly! Well, we found the place in Sarasota. And Chris, this awesome breeder, handed us the pup. 1/4 pound. Now, unknown to me, she had made a deal with the breeder that after one week i could go back if we felt that it was a non compatible mix. Mom had always dealt with doberman!

We gave Chris a hug, put the baby in the basket, .... Mom said she wanted to name me Moses. Then she said that Valentino would be a good name........ anyway...i wasn't going to settle in the basket. That lasted 2 minutes. I was in mommy's lap, in the SUV, my ears tape up, 8 weeks old.......and very much a solid mind of my own!

Mom did not 'really' coddle me/ but when we went visiting, she let me 'run around'.....i had no leash, nothing.......so.............on towards St. Augustine.

it was dark ..... and i always remember to this day, mommy holding me so close to her chest, wrapped in a blanket......and I remember her putting me on HER big bed/ and we cuddled together!!! .......... after 1001 phone calls to Chris... and now three years later, i am the star of the famly! Mom has severe anxiety issues when I am not around. But papi takes good care of me.

Mom said that i was her gift of LOVE. Pure UNCONDITIONAL love on Valentines day!!!
