My Buddy Vern's ma' ....

Yeah, my bro Vern. His mom is having her hip fixed today! She lives in Canada..and has waited for over a year for this...

SO, my mommy writes this with much love and concern / and huggles sent to Vern and family- his mommy is having the procedure done now...

Keeping her in our prayers...!!

I ReALLY IS a GOod Boy....

I is. Watching my mommy ...! BUT in our home environment, its better because then i just go about and do my thing....

Mom would never allow me to interfere.... yet...she remembers reading somewhere, that this is a very simple reason why many 'upload' yorkies out the front door....because they are simply not 'trained'/ dealt with/ regarding these situations. ....

LP could have been a total brat, but given things to do - his lil' house.... quality attention, which goes without saying ...he knows and feels comfortable in his place...:)

He also has been instructed 'not' to go to mom's 'sore' side.... :) All is well.... Lp is good.... but if he had his way, one wonders...

I don't let the professional help near mom....

Nope... I jump, i growl, i pull pant legs.... in fact, they invited me to come upstairs to the ortho unit to visit mom - but mom said no way - no telling how i would react. She was right! SO no matter who it is.... i tear at them.... bark, scream, yell.... so mom has to TEMPORARILY give me my own space , humph, .... then she loves me.

Such is life. Not an easy one for now. A rough row .... so mom is on my side. ..... ! Today our first day on the laptop..... but mom not in the best 'mood' ....

I WAS ON SKYPE!!!

Yup... my Daddy had a meeting with the orphanage in Haiti. And guess what..I waved my paw to all the kids!:)) They all said ' HI L P " ..... so i am famous :)))

Thursday is Mommy's hip procedure - but i'll be with Daddy , so all is ok...:))) Mom said that my needs come first, regardless...

Vern's mom phoned today ..... ! It will be ok. She is also going to have her hip fixed. ....

I got fixed nine years ago...BOL!:)))

Looking over my balcony.....

I see that the 'chicks' found me.... as in Romeo and Juliet ( not Romeo my buddy) .... they come running under the condo balcony ... of course i give them the arrogant look and chase them away! Sheesh...can't a pup have a vacation in peace and quiet.... ! Silly girly pups...

Just had a good meal, and sitting on top of a 'warming' blanket .... let the world go by. All in the life of a tiny yorkie ..... the world is my oyster...:))

ANOTHER DAY in the BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS!!

OH wow.... yesterday I went to Asheville just to 'get out'.....! It was hot there.... but i had my bone/ have quite a few choice dental bones.... ! Love gnawing on them.... !

Mom wants to give me a bath, but it has been strangely cool up here...but i sense that today will be the day!
We actually had to turn the heating blanket on low last night...buncha wimps...BOL!!!

As for me, LP, i have a real fur coat!!! Oh yeah...protects me from the sun, and warms me when i'm chilled...!:))

Very cool up here so she is waiting until we get a little 'warmer'.... !!! Very cool tonight in the Blue Ridge Mountains.... and beautiful!

Mom is cleared for surgery - August 9....

....and so it goes. Dad is getting a motel room near the hospital since it is so close...and Dad and I will wait there...Mom said that her main concern was ME , because she knows she will be ok...! Its a mechanical thing....

....she said that we must always remember ... that we cannot speak..so we must do our speaking .... we must be their voices, loud and clear, firm and consistent...and make certain every need is cared for .. in any way, shape or manner.... she made Dad promise this...:))
