A Queen must have a crown of course!

Last week Meme took a special trip to the Petco to buy important dog items for our glorious outing to the "Cove"... Jarrell Cove, of course.
Its a tiny island off the Puget Sound in the state of Washington.
Naturally Meme's shopping adventure was more for my benefit than that peasant hound Star-whatever his name is... but imagine my surprise when she returned with a new pink crown for me. I could hardly contain myself and have felt the need to prance around to show it off for a better part of the week now. Meme calls it an E-Collar and says its meant to keep me from thrashing myself when I get bitten by mosquitos and those pesky peasant pests called fleas--- imagine that? Why would anyone ever call it a collar when it quite obviously is a delightful crown! AND MORE IMPORTANTLY--- WHY would ANYONE ever think I could possibly come in contact with FLEAS!!
My blue blood is of course simply too sweet an royally rich for the likes of those scoundrels!

Never the less--- A Queen must most definitely have and wear a crown and I am wearing mine with pride. When we drove to Washington I thought it was especially important that any local royals there should be aware of my visit, so it was of course necessary that I wear it. Little did I know it was a peasant resort we would be vacationing at! We stayed in tiny huts called tents, and oh my dogness, I was relagated to spending the night within a dogs length of that peasant hound servant of Doggy Daddy's. I could barely contain myself when the meals were served. I found myself scarfing down morsels of food called weiners... I must confess, they had a slight smokey flavor from being roasted over an open fire-- one might even say they were quite YUMMY!

Alas, I digress--- this camping as the peasants refer to it, was actually not all that bad. We did see some very beautiful travel spots and I slept fairly peacefully on the ride home. Meme says she can't believe I have taken so well to wearing a crown. But I say--- a crown is but a sign of royalty--- Why shouldn't a queen such as I love one??!
pip- pip, Pups!!
