I'm so humiliated....

Mommy says Tuesday is Halloween. What is that mean to me? Does it mean I get more treats and toys? Mommy says it's a time for humans to get dressed up in costumes. Fine...but why must she dress me up too?? Doesn't she realize I am a dog? And that I don't wear clothes??

Anyways...I thought mommy finally got the hint that I don't look good in clothes. I have countless Halloween costumes from years past...but every year mommy shakes her head because it doesn't look good on me. YAY for me...or so I thought.

Mommy got the brilliant idea that maybe she could use her costume from last year on me. She had to buy the grass skirt since she realized that she borrowed it from her co-worker last year. Today she altered it so it would fit me better. Notice in my pictures the skirt is not on me...I refused to have her put the skirt on me. Mommy was getting frustrated with me so she took the pictures the best she could...I even started biting the skirt while she was trying to fit it on me. She wanted to get a picture of me walking around with my costume on...but I refused. I did get some cheese out of the whole ordeal.

Mommy said the lady will be talking to me again...

My mom needs to get a life. I think she is trying to become a doggy psychologist..LOL.

A couple of months ago...my mom went to see this lady at a local pet store. The lady talked to me and although I couldn't see her...I talked to her. My mom was amazed what I told her. My mom works with this lady that says mom should let go of the leash when we are walking to see what I would do. I don' t think my mom would ever do this...but to make sure I told the lady to tell my mom not to let go of the leash. That I would get distracted and get hit by a car or something. I'm only 5...I have a lot of years to live!!! I love to talk to people..so I talked a lot to this lady. Mom told me later that the lady said I liked to talk a lot and that I have a cute personality.

Now the lady is coming back to town this weekend and mom is convinced that she will find out more about me..LOL. I even saw her writing questions to ask the lady. I think she is even asking Aunt Daphne for questions to ask me.

I'll let everyone know what my mom thinks on Monday.
