Hello everyone and Happy New Year! We were having internet problems and I wasn't able to wish anyone a Merry Christmas or Happy New Year properly. Can you believe, it took 2 weeks for the cable people to figure out what was wrong and how to fix the problem. No internet or TV for two weeks!!! Okay, so Mommy actually found an old antenna and she was able to get some local channels that way.

Christmas was great! I got new toys and a new bed! Unfortunately, I also had to take a trip to the vet before Christmas. I was really itchy and very pink! I was pretty miserable. The vet thinks that I probably have allergies, perhaps a food allergy. So she gave Mom some medication and I got switched to some special food. I actually like the food a lot! Mom has noticed that I don't randomly vomit the way I used to and I'm not even eating my poo anymore (yeah I know, gross huh). The best part is that I'm not itching the way I used to. That makes Dad very happy since he's the one who is usually home with me.

Mom had to go back to school after the New Year. She's itchy too, but she says it's from dry skin (that sounds worse than my problem). She had to leave Florida to go back up north. I must have been more prepared for her to leave this time because Dad said I wasn't as upset after she left. That's because I know that she always comes back. In fact, she'll be back next week to visit. Yippee!!
