Happy Anniversary!

Hello Everyone,

Today is my 4th anniversary with my "pawrents" I am a happy boy and they keep saying they are so lucky to have me - so it looks like we are equally over-joyed with each other!
We're going away this weekend to celebrate :) Mommy has already packed all my treaties and things. I'll have her post pix when we return!

My Birthday!

Today is my birthday and I have already had two special treats and mommy is baking me a bone birthday "cake"!

The dough is rising and I can't wait! I hope you all have a wonderful day like me!

Oh, and I hope Spain wins tonight against Portugal in the World Cup because my mom & dad will be especially happy :)

Tail Update

Hello everypaw,

Well, I've been back to the vet to have my tail cleaned & redressed, etc. It looks like it is healing nicely!! I just have to continue with the antibiotics and going every other day so she can check on it.
She told my mom and dad that she was mainly afraid because the cyst was by a vein that ruptured during surgery and bled a lot. But, since it seems to be closing up nicely, I may get to keep my tail after all. I am really glad about that because I use it to tell my mom & dad how much I love them, or when I am scared of something - it is really a good method of communication between us and I would hate to have to lose it!!

Good news and prayers needed

Well, I had this little cyst on my tail and the vet said because there is so little skin on the tail that it may not be able to close up and heal properly. This could mean I could lose my tail! Well, today she removed the cyst and she thinks it is just a fatty cyst and nothing cancerous. Good news = I have my tail for now !
She is going to check the tissue she removed to make sure it is nothing bad - please pray! And we are all hoping my tail closes up nicely so that I can keep it. Mommy believes firmly in the power of the paw - so, please keep your paws crossed.

Hello to all my pals! I would like to thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes and treats you sent my way! I was not feeling too well and actually had to visit you who who! The drasted vet!! Well, I even had to get a shot of antibiotics. Well, no cake or treats for me until I am better, so mommy is going to celebrate my birthday when my aunt Trina arrives from the US on the 13th of July. That way I get two birthdays! I want to thank everyone again, you all made my day special :)

It's been a while...

Well, it has been a while since mommy has been able to change my page or even write! My birthday is coming up (june 29) and since I am going to be 3 soon, I decided to take charge! I am not actually writing myself, but I am at Mommy's side telling her what to do and how I want my page done :) Well, we both hope that we can be on the computer a little more. Although it is nicer out and I will need more walks, etc. It is all about ME!

1. I hate my doggy clothing, but my mommy insists I wear it!
2. I sleep in my bed next to Mommy and Daddy, but at some point during the night when Mommy and Daddy are sleeping, I jump into their bed and curl up as close to Mommy as I can.
3. I bark at the TV when they show football (soccer) because I don't like anyone running and playing with a ball when I can't join in.
4. Like my friend Furio, I too run away from the waves at the ocean, I don’t let my paws touch the wet sand and additionally, if Mommy or Daddy is in the water, I bark and whine until they come out.
5. I am a real Cassanova and have lots of puppy girlfriends. Mommy says its because of the fancy threads she dresses me in. I beg to differ!
