Yesterday a fly got in the house. Now mommy and daddy are very puzzled and perplexed by the fact that I was terrified of this fly.
I am now 8 years old, and mommy says that she has never known me to be scared of flies. But last night, when she was getting her jammies on, I was in the bedroom with her, and I went out into the hall. The fly buzzed right by me and I came running back in the room, with my head all low, and sat right on mommy's feet. Then I very closely followed her into the bathroom and sat sulking on the bathmat while she washed her face. Now usually while Cole is getting ready for bed, Richter and I settle in on our dog beds behind mommy and daddys chairs and snooze. But I scrambled up on mommy's lap, and then on daddy's, and then (again, to the point where there is a danger of tripping) very closely followed mommy and daddy up to my bruther's room to put him to bed. I wouldn't settle down all night. Mommy and daddy tried like heck to get that fly, but he was a speedy sucker. Then this morning when the fly reared it's ugly head again, I alternated hiding in mommy and daddys room and behind the toilet in the bathroom til daddy was finally able to get rid of it! Thank goodness!! That was a very stressful situation for me!
