The Toenail

Mom took me to the vet again.. my toenail was not getting any better. The vet gave me a shot and I got really really sleepy, and fell asleep on the floor. He came in and I sort of woke up.. he carried me to a table and took my toenail off. The whole thing! It was broken pretty badly, I guess. He bandaged up my foot really good and then gave me another shot to wake me up again. It took me a while before I woke up, though. They had to shake me and rub my fur to get me to get up. I was sleepy! I had to wobble out the door, and mom had to pick me up and put me in the truck. She had to carry me out, too, because it was all muddy, and she didn't want my bandage to get muddy.

I'm doing better now, I'm more awake, but OMD my foot hurts. I can't help it, I keep whimpering. Mom gave me an aspirin, I hope that helps.

I'm going to go climb back on the couch and go back to sleep. Bark atcha later!
