Been awhile

Ok..so a lot has happened over the past 4 years! My family has changed a bit, but I still have my girlie. We have moved twice since the last entry. So what have I been up to? Well my little girl is not so little anymore and we get a long a lot better now. I sleep with her every night.
I still like to swim, and I am a bit mischevious but not as much as when I was little. I am 6 1/2 years old and still chasing those darn stinky kitties! Bad habit I guess you could say.......

Stinky Kitty

Wow! I did it again! I found a Stinky Kitty in our yard and tried to catch it to give it to my mom. This time it got me right in the face and worst of all, it did it under an open window into my moms house. Whoa! Everything stunk for days. My mom called the Pet Mobile and they shaved me down to nothing and gave me two baths. Now I smell real good. Once again.....don't chase the stinky kitties.

Loving Life

Hi Everyone! Life is good again. My little girl is happy again. It has been a long road but we are finally living life again. Hey...have any of you ever heard of Barkles? It is a new place I get to go to have my hair shampoo'd. My owner walks me in and it is a self service kinda place fordogs. I am done in 5 minutes. No more struggling in the tub or trying to escape the shower. Plus I smell really pretty when I am done.

What a way to end a new year!

Wow..what a whirl wind way to end the New Year! My Grandma was in the hospital, my little girl was in two Christmas shows so I spent a lot of time in doggy daycare and now my mommy and daddy are getting a divorce and I have been licking alot of tears from my little girls eyes. And....I am in need of a haircut but it seems like my mommy is a bit distracted and has not made an appt. for me. Trust me...I really don't care if I am a bit shaggy because I hate to go to the hair dresser, but it hurts more when she brushes me. I wish the house had a happier essence but I know I can make everyone feel better. Plus the good news is.....I am not sleeping in my kennel right now. Yippeee...my mom has an empty spot on her bed that I have been sleeping in the past few weeks. Another view from a dogs life. ; )

Veteran's Day November 11th 2006

Happy Veteran's Day!

I got to march in a parade with my little girl who is a Girl Scout. We marched even though it was raining. My little girl said we must go rain or shine, because the men/women who have kept us safe over the years, didn't stop their work because it was raining, snowing or? It was fun and I even got to eat a special hotdog they served to all who participated. It was so much fun! I love my country almost as much as I love my little girl.

Woopsie Daisy

Today my mom was making my little girl a costume for a play she is in. It looked like a bumble bee. It was 2:00 in the morning when she finally finished everything. I was sittin right by her side and kept her company all night. Well.....she went upstairs to get something and I saw these two little bouncy balls on the ground. Kinda of black in color. Wheee .....a new toy. I took it and ran all over the living room with my new bouncy ball toys. I loved chewing on it, and grabbing the balls. I was having a blast. My mom came back downstairs and I walked over to her and showed her my new toy. Dropped it right at her feet!! I was soo proud! Well....she got really mad at me. I don't know why my new toy upset her so. Something about how I ruined the antenea to my little girls bee costume. How was I suppose to know I wasn't suppose to touch it. It was right there on the floor in front of me. Well after she yelled at me a bit and stopped crying and complaining about how tired she was, I sat with her for another hour while she constructed a new set of Bee Antenea for my little girls costume. I layed my head in her lap and gave her the big saucer eyes. These humans shouldn't leave things laying around that we dogs can get in to. How am I suppose to know the difference between my toys and my humans things. I will try harder next time because I don't like to make my mom cry. I think the glass of wine she had while making the second pair of antenea helped because she wasn't mad anymore. That was one late night and I had to nap all then next day. Whew!

Happy Halloween

Yippee!! It is almost Halloween.... I can't wait! I am going to dress up like a skunk. If you read my other entries, I think I know why my mom picked this costume. It is so cute on me, except I can't see when the hat part falls over my eyes. I love Halloween. My 8 year old girl takes me Trick or Treating with her. I have to make sure I show her the way to all the houses. I also get to visit all my neighbors and we do a quick stop at my favorite park.What are you going to be for HALLOWEEN??

Today was the bestest day ever!

Wow...you know I love to swim if you read my profile. Guess what I got to do today? I went to the public pool for Bark n Splash day. There must have been a zillion dogs there. However, I only noticed for a minute while I splashed and swam. I also went down the slide and played in the kiddie pool....wow was fun! Then I went to the deep deep pool. It was kind of funny to go into the deep pool, because most of the dogs (labs and retrievers) in this pool had a ball or frisbee in their mouth. What the heck is that for? Maybe they are just being cool. All I know is when my mom wants me to chase a ball, she will throw it and then I can never find it. These dogs must have found all the balls I lost. If you own a wheaten like me, you know we are not retrievers. LOL However, I did love to swim my way around these big dogs with balls. No pun intended. LOL

No More Skunk...Just a bunch of Lavender

Well...I think the skunk smell is just about gone now! My mom says I still have a faint odor, not bad. At least I am back in the house after about 25 baths. Geez..I couldn't have smelt all that bad. And whats up with the blue bottle I keep getting chased around with? My mom says it is pure Lavender oil. Now I smell like faint skunk in a flower garden. How long will it take for this to go away??? Take care of yourselves and remember to stay away from the black and white kitties.

Black and White Stinky Kitty

Hi everyone,

How are you? Well...you know I like to chase Cats. There is one on my fence that always teases me because she knows I can't reach her. It drives me nuts.
The other day there was a black and white kitty in my yard. I thought ok, maybe I can get this one. Forget the kitty on the fence. I would teach him and I chased him all over the place. Finally I cornered him under a small bridge in the backyard. I'll tell you one thing, this was the stinkiest kitty I have ever smelled. My mom came out yelling at me. She had heavy gloves on and a nose mask. For some reason they were putting ketchup all over me. ...even in my ears. Yuck! They bathed me 3 times that night and made me sleep in the garage. I NEVER sleep in the garage. What is up with that? The next morning my mom was talking to someone on the phone about a Skunk? How to remove the odor. Well, guess what? I got another bath in this foamy, salty stuff. Yuck. Let me tell you doggies out there, never chase a black and white kitty. It just isn't worth all the fuss and baths if you catch one.
