- The big news is that, yesterday, I found a new, yummy treat. Fergus' Mommy calls it the Riley buffet. Riley is Fergus cat brother AND, now that I can go downstairs (I learned to 'do' the ones without carpet while Mommy and Daddy were on holiday - it was a necessity so I could follow my hooman keeper/feeder around - whose office was down those bare stairs)... I do digress;

All the 'rents were busy eating and visiting and watching football... and, I did come up the stairs a couple of times just to see if they knew about the good treats downstairs... until, finally they noticed that I had LOTS of fluff around my mouth and in my beard.... YIKES... the excitement..."Did she eat it... did she really... oh no, do you think I should call the vet????? ".......... off to the sink... wash, wash, wash... wash, wash, wash... {getting rid of those leftovers I was saving for later}. HEY - those kitty snacks are good - I wasn't as tickled with that litter stuff they were packaged in, but - ya' take what ya' can get, sometimes....

Well.. the poop reports started coming in............ before bed, check; middle of the night, check ( we would have missed the beautiful ,clear as a bell - waning moon and brilliant stars if I hadn't had to go out;) next morning, check; out at the lake, check; during the lake walk-a-bout, check... bol; Mommy figures I'm all pooped out now!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm SURE there can't be even one tasty little smidgen of Riley snack in me now:( [I won't even start on Fergus' high fibre poop reports!]

- Did I mention that we went out to the lake today; it was so much fun and the very first time I got to showFergus around my lake spots; we came home wet and soggy and tired but very happy pups . I slept all the way home (Mommy says it's only 45 min.... it wasn't that much of a nap... for me, anyway) Humph... what's THAT supposed to mean?

- then we had playtime at his house.. and the hoomans ate again... the Mom's watched a movie; Miss Potter... they really liked it... but, I didn't like the fact that NO ONE would listen to me when I let them know I wanted to go downstairs and check out the Riley buffet again.

"A perfectly lovely day.... almost"
