The biggest news is that we had that huge poplar (60') tree taken down in the back yard.... I watched them very closely (from inside the house) ... and they did it just right.. but, what a commotion.... chain saw buzzing ... people coming and going... saw dust flying... and I really had to check out the tree stump afterwards.... the tree was about 1/4 rotten... and blocked out so much sunlight from the yard.... It's sunny days now:)
Mommy and Daddy went over to Fergus' place the other night and didn't take me (Humph)... it was his parents 34 wedding anniversary (congratulations) and they sat around the fire pit with the neighbours... I hope they don't make a habit of staying out sooooooo late (without me) though!!!!! And, Mommy didn't even bring me any of that cheesecake... she said was 'to die for':(
This will be a busy, get things ready for the trip, week. Mommy has a cold/allergies combination and is blowing her nose, sneezing and sounds like she has a frog in her throat; bol.... I don't really know what a frog in the throat would sound like~~
We'll be leaving Thurs/Fri (June 1)... not exactly sure yet....
Our first stop will be Elkford, BC (by the Crowsnest pass)... my furless uncle lives there (and the Yorkshire Terror, Jake and cat, Mouse; bol)... We're taking Grandma along and will leave her to visit there (they will give her a ride home).
Then, we go to Polson, Montana on Sunday... Daddy's conference starts Tuesday.... it finishes on Thursday and we will go to Yellowstone from there (meet with Lucy and Issy) for a couple of days...
Leave on Sunday... and head back home.... probably get to Grandmas; and stay over there; Sunday night... Daddy will have a meeting in Saskatoon on the Monday (11th) ... and we'll be back home on the Tuesday.....
Why do I feel tired already; bol.....
We sure have great neighbours... that will help look after the house and yard.... Mommy is sad that she'll miss Mandy's convocation:( and the lilacs will just be blooming.... but, it will be so much fun to see Lucy and Issy (and their 'rents).
