I'm so happy I might actually do the "Sonny dance of joy!" I am totally laid back though and don't generally do that sort of emotive stuff. I like to lay low, veg out. I am so cool that I lie on my bed, resting my head on a heater. Yeah. I don't seem to mind even though my Suzy says I'm a little batty for not resting my head on the bed instead and look awfully uncomfortable. But I'm meditating. Doesn't she know that discomfort doesn't bother a mindfulness master? I'm above such things. :) I am a little mopey these days since my Nan and Poppy are gone vacationing. Sucks for me, I don't get nearly enough attention as I deserve! But Suzy is doing a good job walking me and brother Adam is getting me fed in the interim.

feeling better

Hi guys, thanks for your messages! I'm getting better now that I'm on steroids and antibiotics, they said it was an allergy, not sure what to though. but that's ok, i'm feeling better now that I'm on a strict diet, and my fur is starting to grow back and everything. I've heard about these fish oil capsules that are good for skin and fur. Are they good? Does anyone know if they are the same as the fish oils/omega 3's that humans take? I'm feeling better but my fur is missing in huge chunks and I look rather patchy. It is growing back though and Suzy is super happy about that. Thanks for thinking of me and all those prayers! feeling sick

Hi everyone - just being blue these days. Been to the vet three times and going again tomorrow. I have been pulling out my fur and my skin looks infected. The vet is trying to figure out what's wrong since my blood tests and thyroid tests are fine. Now I have fur missing on a large part of one of my flanks and have no hair at all on my whole groin area. I seem to be depressed for a large part of the day, and except for my walk (which I love), I lie down for the other23 hours a day. My family is so worried! I am 8 yrs old and was always in great health. The last blood test 2 weeks ago showed a perfect blood panel, and although my thyroid seemed on the lower end it was still within normal range. I have had to have baths every day with an anti-fungal shampoo to see if it would help and it seemed to have cleared up the skin a bit but not the fur loss, the fur loss is actually worse. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME! My mommy is sad and worried.

happy birthday to meee

It's my birthday! yippee I'm 8! I'm going to get lots of attention and I don't know it yet but my Mommy has bought me a big chewy bone for a snack! And I'm going to get some tlc with a big long brushing. I've had a great 8 years so far, my life is grand! Everyone loves me because I'm so cool - hardly anything warrants me getting upset, so I just chill out and smile! Mom says that's the best thing about me!

I hate tropical storms!

Hi puppiepals,
Here I am waiting out tropical storm Chandra. It sucks! I can't go on walks and refuse to go out to pee! I'm just lying on the kitchen floor sulking! I think rain makes me blue! I'm in St. John's, Newfoundland, where roads are washing out and streets are flooding. Some areas are getting over 100 mm of rain! What do you all do in similar situations to stay amused? I'm getting up there in dog years so I don't like to run around or play with toys that much. Talk to you soon! Love Sonny and Susan

Hi everyone!

Hey all my puppy pals and their typists!

This is my first diary entry. I'm a happy dog, I love to relax. I like to lie down, on the floor, deck, grass, snow, in corners, well, pretty much anywhere. I don't do a whole lot these days, I might be getting old and my 8th birthday is around the corner. I'm told that's getting up there for us giant breeds. I just love going on walks with my Mommy and the grandparents! That is when I get super excited and do little leaps around the living room!

I wanted to tell you about the new game - love tagging! My cousin Rudy love tagged me! That's where you send a message to other doggies, just to say how much you appreciate, admire or love them! So I have tagged three of my pup pals, Little Levi, Jayce and Dory. They are super cuties!
