It's been awhile...September 12th 2008 7:17 pm[ Leave A Comment ] It's been awhile since I wrote in my diary. Nearly a year. We have a very busy life. I no longer have stomach problems because I went to the Vet and she said I have allergies. I'm now eating Hills W/D (and I love it!) and I've gained weight and feel terrific!! I like my Vet very much. She's very good to me. (We went to about 4 Vets before we found one that was nice to me or seemed to care) I was put on antibiotics and probiotics for 3 weeks last year and the prescription dog food and now I'm doing really well. My most favorite thing to do in the whole world is to wrestle Cooper. I always let him win or he won't play with me. I like Cooper very much. He's one good guy and my best friend. Everyone is talking about the Hurricane and what to do. My concern is, we live in Wisconsin and what do we do in the Winter when there's lots of snow and ice and the furnace goes out or the car won't start or there's too much snow and ice to get to the store and the temperature gets down to -20 or more? Does anyone care about that?? Hugs to everyone...
New Food!October 3rd 2007 9:22 am[ Leave A Comment ] Cooper and I started eating Urban Wolf from Canada. I was having some intestinal problems (diarrhea) and several breeders recommended we try this. We LOVE it! It's delicious. It looks like it would be expensive but in the long run it really isn't... AND... we're lucky because we know several hunters who give us venison, duck and partridge. I can't eat raw for the time being. Maybe I'll be able to again one day, but for now, the meat is cooked and put through the food processor. Patti says it's a small amount of work for such wonderful dogs as Cooper and I are.
August 12 2007August 12th 2007 7:52 pm[ Leave A Comment ] We now have 100 members in JoyRider!
August 3 2007August 3rd 2007 9:45 am[ Leave A Comment ] Cooper crawls into bed with patti in the morning and acts cute as can be. I can hear patti say what a good boy he is but I'm the good boy around here! I run up the stairs to tell her and I jump in bed and look her right in the eye and say 'who's the good boy around here?' She knows it's me. Cooper's Ok but he never gives her 'foot spas' like I do! I'm the best foot spa in the world.
August 1 2007August 1st 2007 12:32 pm[ Leave A Comment ] We now have 87 members with JoyRiders and they are the best members on the face of the planet! They are doing all sorts of fun and interesting things and they have some great ideas in regard to us dogs.

Sunday July 29 2007July 29th 2007 5:53 pm[ Leave A Comment ] The groomers cancelled out on us today and Patti had to brush out our mats. She gave me a raw (I eat raw only) chicken leg and thigh for being such a good boy. I eat them in the garage and you wouldn't even know I had anything to eat. Clean as can be! Usually I won't let her groom my back end, but today I did. I'm only 16 months old and learning what I need to do so I can be groomed properly. Yesterday, Patti did the laundry so I decided to bring her my big twisted rope toy to wash. She laughed when I dropped it in the laundry room and left! She said What am I? Your laundry lady?! She thinks I'm pretty smart though and I am. I miss not being able to run and run and run on our land these past few weeks. It's just too hot though. Each day has been pretty much in the upper 80's and 90's.
July 9 2007July 9th 2007 4:57 pm[ Leave A Comment ] We're going to tell the truth here, tough as it is, Clem wasn't fully housebroken until he was 15 months old. By that time, the piddle pad was a rubber backed rug with a folded blanket on top. (He'd chew up the paper ones) Finally, he fully understood, the concept of being potty trained. Yes! But, he's such a good boy and so sweet. I love him dearly.
July 5 2007July 5th 2007 9:02 am[ Leave A Comment ] We now have 29 dogs on JoyRider, 3 cars and 1 gas pump! We'rrre very happy...
July 4 2007July 4th 2007 4:50 pm[ Leave A Comment ] I had to go back to the Groomers at Petco today because she missed some of my mats the other day. Today she got 'em all. I really LOVE getting up on that grooming table and being so tall, but I don't like being groomed all the time! I was a really good boy though. I heard that it takes a village to groom me... Since it's the 4th of July today, we celebrated with vanilla yogurt ice cream. Cooper and I love vanilla yogurt ice cream. Happy 4th of July!
