Last Saturday I threw up twice but then I refused to eat my canned dog food dinner (not even one tiny bite) & that's when my mom knew that there must be something seriously wrong with me (I NEVER pass up dinner). She rushed me down to the ER for dogs and they had to keep me all weekend. I didn't know if l was ever coming home. I'd been bounced around from place to place so you never can be too sure, but on Sunday my dad came & bailed me out. It cost him $600 - ouch! The doc says that there is something wrong with my liver but he can't seem to tell my mom what it is. I was taking 3 types of pills 3 or 4 times a day. I saw my regular doggie doctor on Monday & my liver function numbers are still HIGH! Normal liver #s are under 212 but mine was 797 while at the ER vet and 385 a week later. Now I have to take more pills for a whole MONTH! These plls are supposed to rebuild my liver cells. I sure am glad my mom loves me and takes very good care of all of us pupppers.
