I have been behaving a little too well lately, so I decided to play a little catch-up a few minutes ago! I must keep up my NAUGHTY ways!
So here's the SCOOP!
While Oliver & I were outside in our backyard to "take care of business"... I decided to shake up my mom a little. So....I found a hole in our old wooden fence that was just my size! I slipped through in a flash... and found myself on the outside of our yard!!! I thought about exploring the big snake filled ditch behind our fence, but opted to run farther on down the backs of other fenced yards... I could hear mom screaming my name and practically begging me to come back through the fence! Hee Hee... I knew that mom is too FAT to fit through that teeny tiny hole in the fence.. and that she already had her hands full will my little furbro.... I calculated that it would take her a few minutes to put Oliver back in the house... find a leash and go all the way around to get to the back.... so I explored leasurely....then found a yard with no fence across the back.... looked around there for a few seconds. But LO & BEHOLD...I heard my mom's pitiful, breathless voice...calling HOLLY ...HOL-EEE... Holllllll-leeee...... I couldn't let her catch me that easily... so I squeezed under a wooden gate and happily found myself in that neighbors FRONT YARD.... WOW the STREET was in sight...I love the street! Mom had apparently seen me as I wiggled under...but then she had to run all the way back to our house and go the long way around.... as she couldn't squeeze under as I had.... WHAT FUN!!!!! In the time it took mom to run all the way around.. to the front- yard.. (and I know she was imagining my lifeless body lying in the street... Hee Hee) I had time to get to the street! And what a sight she saw when at last she could see me! I'm really proud of my naughtiness..... I was in a SQUATTING position... leaving a BIG one RIGHT in the MIDDLE of the STREET! HEEEEEEEEE- HEEEEEEE!
Of course I had to redeem myself a bit so put on a great act of being totally OVERJOYED to see her! I ran full speed to her as though I hadn't seen her in YEARS! Reminded me of one of those old commercials where the girl and guy are running toward each other and everything seems to be in "slow-motion!" Hee Hee...
Well, Mom didn't buy it..and she had some choice words for me... but I hardly noticed as I charged back into the cool air-conditioning... to be greeted and congratulated by Oliver and Peggy Sue who were quite impressed! Oliver even said that I am his HERO and that he wants to grow up to be just like me! Wow.. Life is Good!
Yours in Naughtiness!
