I have been behaving a little too well lately, so I decided to play a little catch-up a few minutes ago! I must keep up my NAUGHTY ways!
So here's the SCOOP!
While Oliver & I were outside in our backyard to "take care of business"... I decided to shake up my mom a little. So....I found a hole in our old wooden fence that was just my size! I slipped through in a flash... and found myself on the outside of our yard!!! I thought about exploring the big snake filled ditch behind our fence, but opted to run farther on down the backs of other fenced yards... I could hear mom screaming my name and practically begging me to come back through the fence! Hee Hee... I knew that mom is too FAT to fit through that teeny tiny hole in the fence.. and that she already had her hands full will my little furbro.... I calculated that it would take her a few minutes to put Oliver back in the house... find a leash and go all the way around to get to the back.... so I explored leasurely....then found a yard with no fence across the back.... looked around there for a few seconds. But LO & BEHOLD...I heard my mom's pitiful, breathless voice...calling HOLLY ...HOL-EEE... Holllllll-leeee...... I couldn't let her catch me that easily... so I squeezed under a wooden gate and happily found myself in that neighbors FRONT YARD.... WOW the STREET was in sight...I love the street! Mom had apparently seen me as I wiggled under...but then she had to run all the way back to our house and go the long way around.... as she couldn't squeeze under as I had.... WHAT FUN!!!!! In the time it took mom to run all the way around.. to the front- yard.. (and I know she was imagining my lifeless body lying in the street... Hee Hee) I had time to get to the street! And what a sight she saw when at last she could see me! I'm really proud of my naughtiness..... I was in a SQUATTING position... leaving a BIG one RIGHT in the MIDDLE of the STREET! HEEEEEEEEE- HEEEEEEE!
Of course I had to redeem myself a bit so put on a great act of being totally OVERJOYED to see her! I ran full speed to her as though I hadn't seen her in YEARS! Reminded me of one of those old commercials where the girl and guy are running toward each other and everything seems to be in "slow-motion!" Hee Hee...
Well, Mom didn't buy it..and she had some choice words for me... but I hardly noticed as I charged back into the cool air-conditioning... to be greeted and congratulated by Oliver and Peggy Sue who were quite impressed! Oliver even said that I am his HERO and that he wants to grow up to be just like me! Wow.. Life is Good!
Yours in Naughtiness!

My Winning Chocolate Caper is below:
I am REALLY proud of this naughty act!
Here's the story:
My mom should have learned by now to put her "school bag" away, as I have often found it and emptied her books, grade-sheets etc... but she is tired a lot and gets forgetful at times.
Last sunday while my mom & dad were out for the afternoon, I noticed that Mom's school bag was in the family room, but unfortunately it was up on a table that was quite high. I noticed a wonderful, tantalizing smell coming from her bag, which is unusual, as books and gradesheets just aren't that appetizing...
To make a long story a bit shorter... I used all of my skills to get the bag down... I stretched... got on my tippy toes.... bounced and jumped.... and somehow managed to get the bag to fall to the floor! Molly is very small and Peggy Sue never jumps, so it was up to me to get the bag down. They always bark to cheer me on in such conquests!
Inside I found the usual boring school things.... yet the wonderful smell was making me drool... Finally I saw the source.... TWO LARGE 3.5 ounce Ghirardelli CHOCOLATE bars!!!!! One was filled with raspberry and one with mint! YUMMY!
When mom & dad came home they were horrified! Holly, Peggy Sue & I were really happy and smiling We didn't know why they looked so worried! Hey it was DELICIOUS! Little Molly was still chewing on the remaining paper from the wrapper....
Mom stayed up all night with us and got really worried about 4 am as she was reading all about chocolate poisoning on the i-net. We are very small dogs and the candy bars were very large! She was not sure if we had shared the candy equally or or not. She also learned that she should have made us thow-up or found an "after hours" vet as we could have died that night. Mom stayed home with us the next day and watched us carefully. None of us ever developed any of the danger signs... vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, hyperactivity or COMA. WE WERE SO LUCKY.. And mom says it is A MIRACLE that we did not get very sick.
That is the story. I think it is right up there with the naughtiest naughty of my life! What do you think?

I have just had the realization that I love Cats! Actually it is a love-hate relationship. I have always found them fascinating... beautiful, beguiling , simply irrestible creatures. So fun and fluffy... inviting play...Then WHAP... the harsh reality is that they are also quite fickle...and have VERY SHARP FEET!
Oh why must I love cats?
Happy Valentine's Day!

Halloween Tag
October 20th [link to this entry]
Here are the rules:
Each player needs to tell seven random facts about themselves. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary and their 7 facts. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. Let them know by pawmail or rosette that they have been tagged and to read your diary for the instructions on how to play.
Here are my 7 facts:
1. I am a Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
2. I am very kind & giving, but hate it when anyone walks down my street.
3. I live with Peggy Sue & Molly, Mom & Dad & two evil cats.
4. My best trick is ROLL OVER, and I do it to say "look at me, Mom & Dad!"
5. I am a bouncy, energetic kind of girl
6. I share the "dog's chair" with my mom when I must..a cozy lazy boy recliner
7. I have led a most destructive life, but now I'm trying to be a good girl.
I love all of my Pals so it's very hard to choose... I have tagged: Barkleigh Bianca, Becky, Bailey, Lucky, Maury, Cut N Loose Tex, Riley, Mr. Beauregard, & Helen!

Princess Mia Ruby Thermopolis Love Tagged Me!
I feel so very honored. She and her entire family are so special to us! They were among the first to welcome us when we were new Dogsters and they have taught us so much...especially about having FUN while being compassionate, supportive pals! The entire family is the BEST! If you miss knowing them, you have really missed a LOT... I think they are the very best representatives of DOGSTERS that I know. If there was one MS DOGSTER, Princess Mia would get our vote. And if there was one MS DOGSTER HUMAN it should be PM's furless mommy! PM is the sweetest, most beautiful and lovable little cavie girl and her mom is super savvy at all things computer and all things fun and cool! She is also a wise and responsible parent of two great furless pups! I cannot say enough about this Dogster family. In times of need.. they are always there! You MUST check out their super cool pages and get to know them if you don't already~ PM also has a precious and spunky bro named Bentley! He's grrreat... and not to be forgotten is their angel puppy, Lucy, who is at the Rainbow Bridge.. So, be kind to yourself and CHECK THEM OUT!

Love Tagging is a new craze sweeping Dogster these days..it's similar to the tagging of friends with a special twist...Here is what you do...
If you have been love tagged you need to:
1. Tag 3 friends whom you really really love and think are pawsitively pawsome.
2. Tell your friend to visit your diary for directions on how to play the game.
3. Write in your diary entry reasons why you love tagged your 3 pup pals. Tell everyone why they are so much deserving of your love...
It is very, very difficult to select only 3 Pals to Love Tag...because we have met so many special friends through Dogster. But the rules say to choose only 3....so here goes.....
My tagged friends are:
Emily: 238604 & Amber: 546624 These two Cavaliers are absolutely, Pawsitively Pawsome! I don't quite remember how we came to be such good pals...as most great friendships... it just happened while we weren't looking!
Emily is a beautiful Blenheim girl; so sensitive and special. She has a loving and giving heart and takes seriously her job of loving and caring for her humans. She has accepted with grace the life changes of her household and welcomed Amber into her household with open paws when she joined the family! She is loved dearly her humans. You must visit her page! It is like a lovely dreamworld.... Amber is a georgous Ruby girl! She is estatic about finding her furever home at one year of age. Life is grand for her now as she basks in the love of her family and frolics in her English garden, complete with hedgehogs, fishponds and flowers. She & Emily get along famously and have a great life with their wonderful furless mum & dad... and eagerly await special visits from their Prince of a son who is very charming! The entire family is so special to us! Their mum has lived with Cavaliers all of her life, so she is a wonderful resource when you have a cavie question.
Rocco Rocky :546624 & Sabre : 162500
These are two great dogs are among very first pals we got to know on Dogster. They are incredible dogs who are loved tremendously by their furless family. Rocco is a Tri-color Cavalier. He is the cutest...sorry Rocky...most handsome fundawg you will ever find. His best furpal is his BIG BRO, Sabre who is a magnificient black German Shepherd. The two of them are a PAWSOME pair.. and they both mean the world to their furless family! Their huMOM has a grrrreat sense of humor which adds to the fun. They have furless children to play with who love them dearly. Both dogs have delightfully cool pages. Knowing them has helped make Dogster special for us! Our lives have been enriched and we look forward to knowing them for years to come! Check out these dogs. You will not regret it!
Lucy: 480534 This precious little Blenheim Cavalier is actually a new friend, but she has been on our minds so much recently that we felt compelled to add her to our love tag. A few weeks ago we read in the Cavalier forum that she is sick and her family was puzzled as to her illness. We haven't heard from her lately and we are praying that she is fine now. If you visit her page you will see how precious she is and how special she is to her family. We know that her little boy loves her so. Special prayers to you little pal! We hope to hear from you soon! Remember that we are here for you always! Cavie Kisses!

So there you have it. The Dogs and the humans behind them are what make Dogster great. Through communication and friendship we find that people are people and dogs are dogs... the world over! Isn't that PAWSOME?

OMD...I really must tell somedoggies just how furestrating it is to live with TWO ALFA-dogs!!!!! That's right, I said TWO.... and since there are three of us now....guess who they boss around! You got it... Holly the UNDERDOG....
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE having my favorite cousin Molly living with us! We have a BLAST playing "chase", "leap-frog", "mouth-bite" and others doggy games that we won't even attempt to describe....but where our favorite chewy, FLOSSIES are concerned....well they turn to BEASTS!!!!!! Mom says she knows how I feel as she was a little sister too... Yesterday Peggy Sue was napping and Molly was chewing happily on one of my big tasty bones from the pet store. It looked SO delicious and I swear she was making it look even more so just to make me envious....I was practically drooling and finally just laid down with my chin on the floor watching her wistfully. I imagined how delicious that bone must be... Apparently my mom had noticed that I had nothing to chew, because she quietly slipped me a FLOSSIE.... our last one apparently. In case you haven't had the pleasure of having a flossie, I will tell you ...they are beef tendon which has been dried leather hard in a spiral shape... They are SO delicious... I cannot EVEN tell you...
Well I enjoyed in for about 3 minutes until Molly noticed my prize. She dropped the other bone and rushed over and began yapping wildly at me... I cannot repeat everything she told me as I don't say such things.... but take my word for it... she was telling me that I was totally unworthy of the flossie and reminding me that all flossies belong to her! News to me! Well...all the commotion woke up Auntie Peg... who was STUNNED to see that someone other that HER had a FLOSSIE....and ME yet.... the youngest... Usually my mom is careful not to pull these SPECIAL treats out unless we have one for everydog... but I think she took pity on me ... and it WAS the last one....
I ran here and there trying to avoid the two of them...but they were VERY persistent... and I felt totally overpowered...even tho Molly only weighs 12 lbs now...and in my Dad's words is the WORLDS SMALLEST ALPHA Dog! Of course Auntie Peg weighs about the same to me... and is Molly's mom... and my adoptive mom.... so she feels in charge also! OMD...
Mom rescued me and put me in the bedroom so that I could enjoy my treat for a few minutes...but they both barked at the door so much that it kinda took the fun away... I finally abandoned my prize and returned to the family room when someone left the doors open... Rumor has it that Molly ate the entire remainder of my flossie before turning in for the evening.... so that is the end of that.... and in the wise words of my Dad...That's why they call us DOGS!!!!!

My Mom FINALLY worked on my page! Hope you like. I love butterflies and mom says that I have a sunny personality so I have SUNFLOWERS. It is a beautiful sunny day here and I have "told" mom & dad several times that I urgently need to go "outside" if you know what I mean! Just little white lies..but I REALLY want to go outside to play! Lots of flutterbies.. um.. I mean butterflies everywhere because our flowers have all burst forth... Yippee ..Spring is wonderful... and in less than 3 weeks Peggy Sue & I will get to take a ROAD TRIP to Tulsa to Emily & Glenn's college graduation... whatever that is... The best thing about that is that we will get to play with cuz Molly and help her "pawdy down" for her 2nd birthday! Yay... More later Pals!

My mom stayed home from work today to relax and recoup from working way too many hours lately... and of course she has to do her most relaxing activity... play on Dogster! I want her to play with me...so I have set the timer! BOL.... I do need her help to add a word or two to my journal--- we aren't so good at keeping up with it.... time flies doesn't it?
I had a FUNDERWUL... I mean WoNdErFuL first birthday! Since I am a BOO-BABY.... there was a lot of festivity on my b-day... HALLOWEEN! Everyone seemed to dress up and make a big deal of my day....even those I didn't know!
Mom & Dad were at work all day, but they took Peggy Sue & me to Petco in the evening-- dressed in our lovely ruffled fall collars.... We sniffed out all of the doggie treats, bones & toys...Then I got to choose the ones I liked best!
They did not have our fav...."flossies" by Merrick...so my second choice was a giant bully stick... Mom & Dad laughed at the sight of me carrying it as it was about 2 feet long... Peggy really wanted it...so we had a bit of tug-o-war.... finally Mom insisted we share...and CHOPPED it into two pieces! Wow! She is strong! Oh, I almost forgot... after we left Petco we went to Baskin Robbins. We waited in the car while our Daddy went inside....He brought back big cups of ICE CREAM. YUMMMMMMY I wuv my DADDY.... He is such a soft touch!
I have tried to be good lately, but it is very, very hard. Only one little "slip" in the past few days....Last night while the humans were out running an errand, we SOMEHOW (my lips are sealed) got 2 boxes of Walker's Scottish Shortbreads off of the breakfast table...opened and ate them all :o) Mom & Dad are puzzled as to how we were able to reach them as no chairs were pulled out or disturbed.... and we are not very tall.....They keep saying that Peggy has little angel wings that she uses when she REALLY needs to.... they haven't accused me of being an angel yet! hmmmmm..... We will never tell!
There goes the timer.... Time to play with Holly, Mom! What? Bath? Oh no....
Bye for now pals! :) Holly, the soon to smell better ...cavie

Wowsers! FUN FUN FUN!
This time last week we were in Tulsa Oklahoma! We went on a Road Trip to see my cousin Molly. It was great fun.... We played with Molly, shopped at "The Dog Dish," ate "Freckles Frozen Custard" and generally had a BLAST!
While we played with Molly, we sent the humans off to Homecoming festivities at the University of Tulsa.... where Emily & Glenn are seniors! They are my mom & dad's furless ones.... (pssst...they are also engaged & planning a March wedding!) Glenn got a cool award.... "Top 10 OUTstanding senior!" So they all went to a fancy dress dinner! Hee Hee... I already knew he was pawesome..... but oh well....humans are funny like that.... We doggies had a great time while they were away.... and I got into Glenn's backpack....and checked over his engineering homework! Fun...
Well....back to scratching....I have an itchy problem & mom is worried that I will lose my beautiful red fur if I don't stop the biting & scratching....I am on all sorts of flea preventatives so the word allergy has been mentioned as well as the dreaded "V" word....(vet!!!!!) I will not scratch...I will not scratch.......
Laters... Holly
