Quick Bio:
-purebred-disabled

Birthday:
December 18th 2005

Likes:
Food, sleeping, treats, chewies, mom's bras and panties, dad's undies, dad's socks, laying around and sleeping all day.

Pet-Peeves:
Cooper does NOT like when Katrina tries to take his treats/toys. And he lets her know even though she is 3 times his size :) He also hates his meds.

Favorite Toy:
His brother Cody, any piece of paper or cardboard box, and anything Cody has in his mouth.

Favorite Food:
Banana, goldfish crackers, rice crispy treats, chicken, cheese, ham and turkey.

Favorite Walk:
Cooper chooses to walk in the grass rather than on the sidewalk. He is barely taller than the grass and he tends to get chiggers on his belly.

Best Tricks:
Cooper doesn't do any tricks but the fact that he gets around as much as he does with his disability is amazing!

Arrival Story:
We went to our local pet store to have a meet and greet with our dog Cody and any other dog. We just wanted to see how Cody interacted with other dogs. We had no intentions of walking out with a new pup. Cody met Cooper and wanted nothing to do with him. But Cooper was 3 months old and had been marked down because no one wanted him :( I have no idea why though because he was so sweet and playful. We fell in love with him in 10 minutes and couldn't leave him there when he had spent so much of his life there. So we took him home. And it's been love ever since. Now Cody and Cooper are inseperable. They love each other and are each other's best friends.

Bio:
Cooper is the cutest little fluffball. He is so little and fat that he waddles everywhere he goes. He is also a burper. After every meal he burps, actually he belches. :) This 10 lb dog poops more than 10 lbs a day. Hubby calls him a manly dog since he poops so much and belches. This is why we call him Cooper Pooper. Since I first wrote Cooper's bio, he has had a run of bad luck :( Cooper's elbows closed way too early so his bones twisted and turned looking for a place to go. He has severe joint dysfunction and has disabled front legs now. He still gets around but looks very funny and he wears out very easily. You can see his legs in the picture of him and his brother on the couch. Since then, both Cooper and his brother, Cody, have been affected by the pet food recall. Cooper has chronic kidney disease from it and his brother is teetering on the verge of kidney failure :( It breaks my heart to see my little ones having to deal with so much.
