Likes:
Playing with big sister Tess, snuggling with mom in bed.

Pet-Peeves:
Tilly does not like sewer grates and is afraid of wading pools

Favorite Toy:
an empty water bottle - just goes to show you don't need to buy expensive toys

Favorite Food:
bananas

Favorite Walk:
Tilly loves to walk to the waterfront. There are so many people to visit, fish to see, frogs that jump, & ducks to chase on our walks.

Best Tricks:
It is pretty impressive to see Tilly in the backyard, swinging in the hammock, one of her favourite pastimes!!!!!

Arrival Story:
Mathilda was found on petfinder.com. She was only 7 weeks old. Her entire litter was dropped off at a shelter. I fell in love with her picture. I drove to the foster home (about 2hrs. ) with my friend Elaine and picked her up 3 days after seeing her on the web. She climbed all over Elaine in the car and then fell asleep in the most unusual position. I wasn't sure how her sister Tess would react to her but she didn't growl or make a fuss at all. Tess ignored Tilly for 3 days but eventually she won her over too.

Bio:
Tilly is such a snuggle pup! She is so very sweet but she can be a bit of a brat too! She knows exactly what to do to annoy her older sister Tess - sibling rivalry is such fun! Tilly is very lively and playful. She loves to play flying disc! She often gets the "Zoomies" and zooms around the room or yard like crazy, which really makes me laugh. Tilly is training in flyball and is almost ready to compete. Tilly is so unusual looking because of her total body merle markings. When she was very small she looked like a tabby cat. Now she looks more like a hyena! People stop us everywhere we go to ask about her because she is so striking.

I am learing disc!

Mom has started to teach me to play flying disc. I really, really, really like this game. So far I have learned to catch the disc in the air. I am getting better at it but mom really needs to work on perfecting her throws! Mom says we are going to go to a disc dog workshop in a few weeks so that we can learn some more. In the meantime, I have been warming up with the flyball team and mom says I am almost ready to compete!

Mom took me to my very first flyball lesson last week. There were lots of dogs and it was super fun to get to run and jump and play. We managed to do a recall and jumping over 4 jumps in a row! That was pretty darn good for my first try. I like it when I catch up with mom after the jumps and we play tug together. Can't wait for Saturday to try some more!.

SNOW!!!!

Woke up the other morning and had a nice snuggle with mom in bed. When we got up mom took Tess and I outside to do our morning business. Everywhere I looked it was covered with white fluffy stuff that mom called snow. Even though I had never seen it before I knew instantly that I love snow. It is cold and a little bit wet and fun to run and jump through! I got the zoomies and raced around the yard 20 times! I ran and jumped and leaped and ran and jumped and leaped...mom laughed and said I looked like a wild horse bucking. Wow, who knew that snow could be so much fun? It has all gone away now but mom says we will get some more soon...cool!
