Nicknames: Prince Caffrey, Baby, Caffers, Darling, Cutiepie, Sweetie, Pupsy - Anything cute really! Nanny calls me not so sweet names when I am naughty though :(
Doggie Dynamics:
Likes: Stealing Socks - I am also very playful and love dressing up to pose for photos. I adore the girls and I'm a bit of a player even though I have been de-caffinated!!! I also love chasing after the water hose in the garden.
Pet-Peeves: I hate my Mummy and Nanny talking on the phone and being too hot when trying to sunbathe!
Favorite Toy: I have loads of toys and can play for hours on my own with a ball, but my favourite toys are socks, toes and feet! hehe.
Favorite Food: Green Beans - I slurp them up pretending they are wormies! Yum Yum
Favorite Walk: I love to feel sand beneath my paws at a beach but unfortunately, we don't have one nearby. Along the grand union canal is a favourite walk of mine or in the country side where there's lots of new smells.
Best Tricks: I'm a CGC. My best tricks are saying "No", "Hello" and counting up to ten. I'm also extremely talented at the art of ripping up paper!
Arrival Story: Mummy always wanted her own little puppy to care for and was begging Nanny and Grandaddy to let her have another dog but Nanny needed time to get over the passing of Dottie, who had been by her side for 19 years. Then in 2004 Mummy and Nanny were in a car accident, they both suffered whiplash and went to court to claim. Mummy brought me with the compensation money from the car accident.
Mummy was sure she wanted a little dog and decided it would either be a miniature shnauzer or a westie. Her neighbour across the road had recently got a Westie Pup and Mummy adored it, he made up her mind for her. My Family came to visit me on the 14th December 2005 and I went and lived with my family, 4 days later on the 18th!! The Westie across the road and I actually share the same Westie Daddy, making us half-brothers. We love to play togther and run riot.
My first christmas was spent with my new family who I had only been with for a few days. Mummy remembers I was this diddy little pup that could fit into your hand and she put a little santa hat on me. I had a whole bunch of presents under the tree which Mummy had bought me for me to rip open on Christmas Morning.
I was the cutest puppy ever and I have always been (always will be) spoilt rotten!! I'm such a lucky pup, I have been surrounded by love ever since I was tiny, It's such a shame not all doggies have this!
Bio: You're reading the biography of Prince Caffrey Truffles Brown...who personally, I think is a fine example of the Westie breed. I thrive on lots of attention and have lots of spirit. If I don't get the attention I deserve 24/7 from my family I ensure I get it by being naughty. I'm friendly to all but know who my people are, there is no doubt about that. There is nothing I love better than sleeping on my Mummy's lap. Bliss! Some words you could use to describe me are: Cheeky, Mischievous, Playful, Happy, Loving, Caring, and spoilt! I have lots and lots of toys and a passion for fashion. I have a wardrobe full of designer outfits and love to strut my stuff in them during my walks... They obtain me even more of that attention I love! My soft fur is white when I have a bath but often it is a brownish colour as I like to take part in the sport of rolling in mud or any other mucky substance that happens to be lying around. My eyes are black but at a second glance you will notice a mischievous glint hidden within their depths. I was born on the 22nd October 2005, I'm a D Flowerday bred Westie. My parents are: Sire: Dandy King, Dam: Kenyee Emma. I only stayed with them for a short 8 weeks of my life and have lived with my young Mummy, Nanny, Grandaddy and Bertie the cockatiel since December 2005. My family always take me out with them whenever I am allowed and I have been to lots of terrier-ific places...I adore new places where there's lots of new smells and territory to mark. I am always on my best behaviour when out so people think I'm an angel. I've had several people offer my Mummy money to adopt me but she says I'm priceless and she couldn't imagine her life without me by her side. To be honest, I can't imagine my life without my her either. When I was young Mummy took me to training classes. I passed my British Kennel club puppy training and I'm also a CGC - I passed the British Kennel Club Good Citizens test in bronze and silver on 1st July 2006. See, I am a well behaved dog! Dogster came into my life in May 2006 and since then my Mum and I have made many friends that we treasure. I have been Dogsters Dog Diary of the Day (6th July 2006) and Dogsters Dog of the Day on the 11th January 2007. All Fur Fun named me their Dog of the Day for the 17th September 2007. I was Dog of the week on the UK site DoggySnaps 25th September - 2nd October.
Forums Motto:
It was a Great success, a really pawsome day!! All us dogs were really well behaved and had lots of fun together. The sun shone all day, and paired with a cool breeze it was pawfect weather for us.
We all met at Brampton Woods around 11am for a walk together through the woods before heading over to Grafham Water for a picnic and some games. Mummy and Ben had organised Musical Dogs, which Sadie and Eddie were the winners of, and a Potato and Spoon race which Sadie and Bertie won.
I hung out and chilled with Bertie and Eddie a lot at Grafham. The pawrents kept noticing lots of similarities in the characters of Eddie and I. We’re thinking we may be related. It could be possible, us Westies did get bred from the Cairn =)
Just before it was time to go we had our gift exchange. Mummy and Nanny felt really guilty since they’d left Sadie’s presents at home on the kitchen table (Sorry Sadie). Angel and Rocky had got me this really lovely plush Cow toy. I made sure they could see how much I loved it, and played with it for a good 10 minutes. Bertie kept looking over at me longingly, wanting to steal my cow.
It happened when I was off lead in a field near my house during a walk with Mummy and Ben. I was happily exploring and sniffing around as I do, when I got caught in some brambles. It hurt a whole lot, and I couldn't help but to yelp really loudly. Both alarmed, Mummy and I ran towards each other. That's when she saw all the blood!! There was specks of red all over me, but most of it on my ear. Mummy and Ben quickly carried me home to clear me up and see how badly I had been hurt.
My ear had been sliced open by the nasty brambles =( It's amazing how much blood can come out of an ear!!
Which reminds me, not only do I have to share my house with this little one. I have to share my barkday too!! They were born on the morning of the 22nd October 2008 -- MY BARKDAY. Barkdays are not something for sharing.
It's here all day tomorrow too, along with Friday and Saturday.
=(
BIG SIGH
Humph!!!
Oh, on the plus side we have snow here in England tonight!! Hopefully in the morning I'll get to zoom in the snow.
