Naughty boy!

On the very first day of this month, while Penny and Mommy were at Agility class, I decided to be naughty!
Left alone with Daddy, me and JB knew we would not be closely supervised. JB told me about the hole he had chewed once in the leather love seat! I had to try it! Daddy was busy on the computer, JB kept lookout in the hall, I went into the bedroom, hopped up on the love seat and started chewing with all my might! I did it!!! A huge hole, at the exact opposite end from where JB did his!!! Check out my page, I even posted a comparison photo. What do you think, I think my hole is larger than the one JB did! BOL!

Gemini Dogs Halloween Pawrty

Hellp pups! Yesterday we went to our dog school, Gemini Dogs, for a super Halloween Pawrty! We ate treats, visited with our instructors, did a costume contest (JB the Parrot dog won!) and had professional portraits done! Mommy can't wait to see them on the photographers website in a week!
I got to sniff the Agility Equipment to see if maybe after Obedience I might want to try it. Everyone thought we were sooo cute! We even met some other dachshunds that came! There were tons of other types of dogs too, even HUGE DANES! *strained neck looking up at them!* Mommy bought us a toy, and someother stuffs that people were selling. It was a great time!

One more day to Halloweenie! We are going to stay home and help Grammie give out candy while Mommy takes the kids trick-or-treating.

First Place! Petsmart Nashua, NH Store Howl-o-ween!

OMD! I won First place at my Petsmart contest! I am amazed that out of around 80 pets, the judges thought I was the cutest! Mommy posted some photos of us! We had a blast!

The Brave Blaze (Biscuit) and how she rescued me! A- Fictional tail by Newtie

One day I was just hanging around, playing with my toys and chewin' on stuff like a good little puppy should. Then it happened, I found a prize. Every puppy dreams of finding the ultimate chewie. And I did, it was a Bully Stick. I chewed it, tossed it around and even tried to bury it in the couch. Well my brother Jelly Bean tried to steal it from me, so I grabbed it in my mouth and ran. Bad Idea! I sure should have listened to my mommy when she said don't run with things in your mouth! Suddenly the Bully Stick piece slipped and got caught in my throat! PANIC! I ran faster trying to get away from the scariness of choking. Faster, faster somepup help!!!! I could not bark, whine or breathe!

Suddenly out of nowhere a blazing streak of Pink, White and Teal came rushing up behind me and scooped me up. It was Blaze! She was here to save the day! She wrapped her super-strong paws around me and took off into the air, we were flying!! Then Blaze used her telepathy to tell me everything would be OK, she had to do that because we were flying faster than the speed of sound! Blaze then used her telekinesis to move the terrible Bully Stick out of my throat! As it dropped to the ground she used her super shrill bark to shatter the Bully Stick into a million itty bitty tiny pieces. I took a huge deep breath, it was a wondrous feeling! Oh! What a super hero Blaze is!

Blaze flew me to a safe place where no Bully Sticks get caught in puppy’s throats. She gently put me down and patted my head. In my mind I heard her tell me I would be just fine. I asked her how she knew I was in trouble; she told me that her super hearing had caught the sound of me choking. You see, I am like family to Blaze, and it would kill her if anything happened to her family, so she always knows when we are in danger.

First Day of Obedience!

Hi pups! I went to my very first formal Obedience class tonight! I liked it, there are two other dogs in my class, so we all get lots of the teachers time. I was a little frightened by all the barking the other two did, but then I found out they were very young compared to me, not that I am old at 7 months, but you get the point. Anyhowl, I got to show off a little because I already know the handsignals and cue words for sit and down, from watching Penny and Jelly Bean train. Class flew by! At the end after the other pups left, mommy asked the teacher if she could toss my squeeky a few times for fetch, which I am real good at! She said we could and I had so much fun that I fell asleep on the ride home! I can't wait to go next week!

Six and a half months old....

Today I am six and a half months old, Mommy took us all on a ride to the vet, Jelly got a shot, then the vet poked him all over and looked in his ears. I wanted to be on the table too, I jumped up and down until mommy picked me up so I could see. I got weighed, everyone OOhh'd and Aahhh'd over what a big boy I am, I am already 9.5lbs! I am a GIANT among weenies!

Getting Newtered today

This morning mommy dropped me off at the vet, to get something called Newtered, it must be something wonderful, because she has been talking about it for a week! And it has my name in it! Newt! I'll let you know when I get home how it was!

Diesel is coming over!

My littermate Diesel was over last night to play for a little while! Today he is comming to sister's birthday pawrty!!!! I can't wait! We are going to have so much fun!

I gained .4 lbs!!

I went to the vet today for my rabies shot, and she told me I gained .4 lbs! I am now officially a 4 lb weenie!!! (my bro Diesel hasen't gained anything yet! and he cried when they gave him a shot, what a weenie weenie!! BOL) I love my brother, he gets to visit almost every day, and in a few weeks he is coming to stay for a whole week!! We are going to have soo much fun!!
