Last night, Daddy was sittin' down in the livin' room with his supper plate. I noticed on the desk beside him was this very scary thing. It was cold and hard and shiny and round. It seemed to glow when the light hit it. It was red and blue and silver.
I was so scared of this thing, I barked at it. I kept starin' at it and it seemed to stare back at me. I kept my distance and just kept runnin' around it checkin' out all the way around it. I barked and howled and tried to scare it off.
It stood it's ground. It wouldn't move. Then all of a sudden, Daddy picked it up as if he were chokin' it. It popped when he squeezed it. It jumped up to Daddy's mouth and spilled something out into his mouth. The liquid was brown.
I kept checking Daddy to make sure he was alright. I don't know what that strange liquid the shiny monster spilled out was. All I could think was, I gotta scare it away.
Then mom went in the kitchen. She came back.
You'll never believe what she had in her hand. You'd probably run from it, just like I did.
It was ANOTHER shiny monster. She held it close to me and told me not to be afraid. She said it was only a Pepsi can.
Well, I don't know about you, but, I don't care what they call it. I am staying away from that can. I don't want it spilling any of that toxic liquid on me!!

We belong to the PPP Group but don't check it as often as we should. We were reminded when we saw this challenge on our new friend Annabelle's page. So now we're going to list some doggies that we think are cute and need a home.
This is a puppy born the same place as my brother Paco. We believe he is Paco's brother. We saw him when we were there. He was born the same day according to the petfinder page. He's a cute little tan boy. He needs a home. PLEASE, please, go get him. if he's anything like Paco, you definitely won't regret it. Paco is a super sweet lap baby. Call the number or email the listed address.
Baby CJ Chihuahua
(cj is no longer listed. We hope it is because he is adopted. We'll try to find out later)
This is a cute little chocolate/tan chihuahua mix. He's really cute. He's already neutered.

Nina, you cunning little baby- faced doll, you. You stole my heart the first time I held you. You looked into my eyes and said, "Take me home, I'm more fun than a poodle! I think you and I are gonna be good friends."
Nina had me pegged the first time she layed eyes on me. She knew what a sucker I am for a sweet little playful puppy.
I never in my life dreamed that I would have a chihuahua in my life. For some reason, I was blinded to the little darlings' qualities. I always saw chihuahuas as nippy little pains in the rear ---- until I met Nina. I don't know, I think it was fate. We love each other.
Nina has made me appreciate chihuahuas. She came along when I needed a new friend. She has shown me all that is good about chihuahuas and a little of the bad, too, but the good far outweighs the bad. She is the most devoted little companion that I have ever had and that's saying a lot.
I have loved animals all of my life. I have been touched by many four-legged sweeties. I am that lady that everyone would bring that stray or orphaned animal to when they didn't want to take care of it themselves. I have reared birds, deer, pigs, pygmy goats, racoons, skunks, hamsters, guinea pigs, a donkey, horses, mice, cats, dogs, rabbits and more. I have loved many of this animals deeply, but this Nina, takes the cake. I have run through every imaginable emotion with her. I can't imagine being without her.
Nina is not the best behaved dog in our family, in fact she is probably the least, but there is something special about this little girl. Maybe it's just how much she makes me feel loved. This is a special Tail of Devotion

Well, Mom's been at it again. She's been making me try on those clothes that she makes. I probably wouldn't mind so much if she didn't take it off so many times. That's really the only time I fuss at her, when she pulls it off over my head.
Mom made the purple outfit yesterday. They tell me that I am pretty in it. She made me the necklace, too, but it really didn't match my outfit. I think she needs to make another necklace. I like my necklaces. I don't mind wearing them so much. When I put them on we usually go somewhere. People always tell me I'm cute when I'm wearing them.
I really don't like the clothes too much. Most of the time, I wear them one time and then mom sells them on an auction site. So really, I'm just a model. I think Mom ought to pay me for my modeling. I know that I would buy more toys than clothes if she would just pay me.
Hey Mom!! Take a note. Make TOYS NOT CLOTHES!!

Mom sometimes does things that irritate me and I am learning new ways to show her that I don't approve. I like to be creative.
When mom clips my nails, I snarl at her. When I get away from her after the clipping, I won't kiss her for hours. I make her pay for clipping my nails. I even go give Daddy lots of kisses and stare at her to make her jealous.
I have lots of tricks for when she ignores me. My newest trick is to spin and chase my tail to show her how bored I am. I usually bring a toy and place it at her feet when I want to play. When she doesn't notice that I bark and play with the toy at her feet. If she still doesn't pay attention, I scratch at her legs and if that doesn't work, I bite her legs and bark. Sometimes I just take whatever she's messing with and run with it (like her crochet thread or papers that she's reading). I think it's lots of fun to get her and Daddy to chase me.
If she's paying more attention to Daddy than me, I bite Daddy. I show him whose the boss.

I am so happy, my Chihuahua pal, Charlie made me an animated picture (Actually, I think his Mom made it)! Now I look classy like all those other pups! I really think it looks beautiful!.
I love Dogster! I have made so many new friends. I love 'em all. I can't believe how sweet they are here.
I got a new necklace last week from Gunner and his gang and made by Lucy and Norma Jean's mom. I am wearing it in my new animated picture. I am so lucky!!
HOOOWWWWLLLL!

Saturday morning, I was awakened by my Dad frantically screaming, "What are you doing? Why are you pulling my hair?"
I looked up to see my mom with a handful of my Dad's hair pulling him down. I didn't know what in the world was happening.
My mom, then released Dad's hair and said, "Oh, I thought you were laying on top of Nina. I must have been dreaming!"
Dad laughed and said, " Yeah, you can use that excuse if you want!"
Dad had told Mom that he could feel me laying behind him and apparently she wasn't fully awake. She was confused and didn't even know she was pulling Daddy's hair until he hollered at her.
Mom told Dad she thought that she must have been partially awake and when he said my name she thought he had rolled on top of me. She said it was just like when she had human babies, she was always about half asleep, worrying and always checking to make sure they were breathing. (The first few months of their lives, they slept in a crib right next to her bed.) She has been concerned that I might get rolled on since I am so small.
All I know is... you better not mess with me if my Mom is around!!!

Mom took me to see my human sister. There was these strange furry creatures at her apartment. They weren't dogs, that's for sure!!
They walked around and just kind of checked me out. One of them fluffed up when I first got there, but lowered her fur after I had been there for a while.
My human sister decided to get out her laser light and show Mom how those furry creatures chased it. YEAH! That was something we had in common!! We all chased it! We were running around like crazy and having a blast. Then it happened! The one that fluffed up earlier slapped me when I got close to her. She slapped me right on the nose! I learned though, I stayed out of her reach the rest of the time I was there.
Mom said they were cats. That was my first encounter with cats. One of them was pretty cool, but I'm not to sure about that other one yet!
When I got home, I told my family of dogs about the cats. My brothers Keefer and Dillon told me about chasing cats. My brother Zoomer and sister Celeste said they only chased cats if they were outside and the cats ran.
